  1. Dave and Patrick both were up at Norwalk friday night. I did not see Dave make a pass but Patrick went like 9.xx something but he was banging away on the keyboard of the laptop most of the time trying to figure it out. I talked to Dave and he mentioned that he thinks the problem is in the coil packs
  2. I have a set that looks a little better than those.......lol. There coming off saturday. Anyone wants them they can have them for free, come get them
  3. Just assuming but the AFR's will be fully cnc ported where the darts may be as cast ports.
  4. There is to much money to be lost by not giving the license back. Reinstatement fees Insurance fees Court costs Lawyer fees Alcohol couselors Its a bussiness regaurdless of what you might think, take the license away and those 5 things now lose out on money. Ask any defense lawyer if he feels guilty about the money he makes from his clients. Keyword here is Money
  5. Hate to break it to ya but the tickets are free http://static.summitracing.com/email/2009/2009_ADRL_Summit_Racing_Equipment_Ohio_Drags_III_Ticket.pdf
  6. I got to see the car and being mr phucking anal that I am I can really say that I was impressed with the install Brady and the boys did. Very clean and professional job done on this car.
  7. pm me a address and I will come down tonight and take a look at it
  8. Good god I could not believe all the people in Newark/Heath standing along side of the road. This was the 1st time we had went up there and in past years went to Brice road which I heard was dead. I just cant get over the crowd. Is it like this for every weekend event such as Ford weekend and such?
  9. About time, I feel like a lone duck in lancaster
  10. Thats what I am hoping for. I will try to get with Bill Lutz to see what else he might be able to come up with as a class. The biggest problem I see with Trails is that they just dont have the draw of cars like Norwalk does but we gotta try something. As long as you come in on drag radials we can let you in
  11. What I am wanting to do is a two chance qualifying effort going into to a 16 car field elimination, heads up pro tree
  12. There in itself lies the problem. Its to hard to include everyone and then keep a simple tech. For us it needs to be fun and competitive and trails is going to be looking for simplicity and profitability. Trails now has a big tire and small tire class in the Boscoe/Holt shootout and its a joke because of low participation. It would be nice to see a group of people get together and try and support some form of this.
  13. Bingo. More than 28 then on most cars it requires body modification. a 275 is a 28" tall tire. Anyhow forgot to mention that the track manager wanted to meet in october and discuss this for the 2010 season. There needs to be something more going on out there than just test n tune and phuckin bracket racing
  14. Once a month Norwalk runs Friday Night Chaos, it was fun as hell to go up there and spectate and race. I see no reason Trails could not do something the same. I ran in there Street Assasin class, even rules somewhat close to that would be fun. http://www.norwalkraceway.com/norwalk-racing/heads-up-racing/

  16. It would be pretty easy to fit it in on a friday night. Your only talking about a 16 car field
  17. Around the country the 275 drag radial is becoming popular for heads up events. I emailed NTR if they would be open to the idea of limited rules 275 radial class on friday nights. Maybe do an event once a month. The manager responded by asking me to come see him in October to get something going for 2010. I know they tried to do the Boscoe/Holt shootout but it seems as if there is always a poor turn out for this. I think it would be neat to see a 275 class with rules something like 3200lbs, licensed, insured, mufflers, and limit of a 275 drag radial to run a 16 car field. Racers have been in the 7.70 range on these tires, I doubt we would see anthing like that but probably more along the lines of 9 threw 11 second field. Any thoughts if people would be interested??
  18. Quoted from first paragraph of my initial post is the reason I posted it.
  19. The portable one he had with him had me at .091. Reguadless of how I passed the field test the officer had me at that point by the breath test. I was taken to the post where they regular breath tester was out for repair and this was the reason for the Urine test. I received this ticket back on May 11th so its not like it happened yesterday. I have a friend that works in the probation department. Fairfield County alone processes 12 to 15 dui's each week.
  20. 6'3 200lbs and a belly full of food. 5 beers and a shot in 3 hours. I felt fine and I am not a first time drinker. Even the lawyer agreed that I passed the sobriety test but fact is the law is .08 and I was over. Like I said, no denying it. I did the crime and paying for it now
  21. Now I know I will get crucified for even posting this from the holier than thou side but I will accept what ever flames I may get in trying to educate those from avoiding my fate. It really is not worth it! I did it, I got caught, and there is no denying it. I believe about every state is .08 limit on breath and .11 if its urine. My urine came back .117, and I was fine and dont argue with me here! I got pulled over by the Highway Patrol for simply no use of a turn signal and it snow balled from there. I know there is those here weather they will admit it or not drive after drinking. I admit I love my beer on the weekends and like bouncing a few of the bars. There is nothing wrong with that but try to be responsible about it. Either have someone drive you, dont do it at all, or at least know your limit. I never figured I would get caught but I did and I am paying the price now. I do try to be responsible in that I would never attempt to drive after getting totally shit faced. After everything is said and done it will probably cost me about 5 grand for a 1st time offense. If your going to do it at least pick you a little insurance. Ebay has portable breathalyzers ranging from 10 bucks to a grand. Hind sight is always 20/20 and if I would of had one of these I never would of got behind the wheel until I knew I was well under the limit. http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1311&_nkw=breathalyzer&_sacat=See-All-Categories Take it for whats its worth and avoid my fate at all cost as this has not been fun in anyway. Flame suit on
