older compaq's.... maybe... (although I have a 266mhz laptop that I still use for tuning and it boots every time) but have in mind, the compaq laptops now are just HP laptops with the Compaq name. as far as Dell, they are slipping fast to HP in customer service. Alienware.... Dell owns them, so ya....

go to Office Max, I just bought a real nice Compaq for 699. 1.8Ghz AMD 64 x2 processor, 120 gig drive, 1 gig of ram, dvd dual layer burner with lightscribe, Vista home pro, etc...

the bolts are cheap... you should probably replace them and the gasket deal on them while it's off.

I just go and get the 3 for 25 at block buster or Hollywood video... the time it takes to rip DVD's isn't worth the 7 dollars it costs to just buy it.

ok, so we're looking to get married next year. we were originally planning on doing a cruise style of wedding. Now we are thinking about entertaining other ideas. We wanted to do a remote location wedding... does anyone have any ideas of where to go and how to get there without breaking the bank. All ideas are appriciated.
