  1. yes still have it, I am waiting to dismantle once I sell the pumps. Ill shoot you a pm
  2. aeromotive boost reference bypass regulator #13101 for 95 bucks, it was new. we can work out arrangements for pick up as they are still on my car at the moment. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0365.jpg
  3. You ran 60# base pressure of your 160s? I need to email fic and find out more and look into that Weldon I guess
  4. thats real cool ray thanks! I am using the 160lb bosch high imp injectors from FIC http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/shop/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=245 I believe I read 160@43psi so that kind of makes since, I think with a little more fuel pressure and boost the car will pick up another hundred horse or more but I think I am stressing the two pumps. I am going to run it for now on low boost. I think it will be just fine and glad to see my pumps seem to be flowing like new considering the numbers and A/F, just think Id rather run one pump or maybe have a 2nd on a hobbs switch in case pressure drops enough to need it.
  5. I change the oil in 2 of my cars but my silverado is cheaper to take to the dealer. they always run a deal with tire rotation for free. I think it costs me less than 25 fr oil change and rotation.
  6. WTF!!!! I cant stand heights and this video is insane
  7. that show brings in so much already. I planned on being there sat/sun this year with the nova....but it looks like I may limit my time to saturday
  8. Ill do some more research, I have probably better feed stuff then you are talking about as far as size, just different pump. Its hard for me to believe that one weldon 2345 move more than 2 a1000 pumps. That being said I hate the idea of running two electric pumps so I hope it is true
  9. your car a 16v system or 12v? for a grand I think the weldon might be the way to go. If I can fit it, I will be going cable drive for sure if not.
  10. Yeah I'm wondering if I can switch to a single pump to carry me to the number I need on corn
  11. I wonder if it would make that big of a difference i have -10 dual feeds to pre filters and pumps then y to single -10 post filter to front y to dual -10 to rails and -8 return. It would not be much to go to a -12 between the y blocks to feed the long stretch, or I could sell my 2 a1000 pumps and get 2 pro tuner 750 magna fuel pumps and be good, just put the 2nd pump on a hobbs switch, even though Im not even sure Id need 2 pumps. Base pressure is still only around 40psi so I think there is still plenty left in the injectors and pumps, I know it will just stress the pumps a little more
  12. I am not against going to a -12 from rear to front but twins are out of the question since I dont want one bank to go dry if I lose a pump. To be honest I am currently exploring going to a cable drive pump or doing a single magna fuel or weldon pump. I am not really happy running 2 electric pumps just in high boost situations. I suppose I cut put some pressure cut off switch where it kills the car if pressure drops to low
  13. lol trust me my car is no where near the power it needs to have nor I have the pockets to support in class racing. I would like to qualify a 275 radial field one day I guess it depends where it is held and who shows up
  14. proly but theres a point where its all for bragging rights. I have so much chassis adjustment between shocks settings and spring rates then pinion angles and shock settings out back, then of course ramp rates of boost along with dialing in the 2 step with use of transbrake...phew once thats done at current power levels I see me using up my 8.50 cert easily. The tune in the car is super safe, brian made sure of it. I will proly add 2-3 more pounds of boost to get to the 1000+ club but thats just a personal goal. hell from 3700-4650 the car is just damn violent it makes so much power there so fast I am curious to see how well I can get the car to handle it
  15. Is the coughlin one that big? I might take the nova
  16. Thanks guys I am very happy with the car
  17. and the dyno vid...quality is so so but its what I got
  18. a few pics from today while I work on the vid http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0372.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0376.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0380.jpg
  19. brian would have to answer that, I know it was only pulled to 6300 ish though.
  20. nah, no street driving except for neighborhood cruising when brian came out for the base tune. I did trailer it out west for the alignment last weekend so if it was on my trailer maybe
  21. **************** DYNO UPDATE **************************** Got the car out to Dyno Tune Motorports today and got it on the rollers, Brian spent some time perfecting the VE tables and making sure everything was safe. We started with the wastgate spring on the JGS 60mm gate and it was able to get down to 2.5 psi! it made around 400 at the tire with the pressure. We began adding small amounts of boost and the car loved it, by the time we got to 15psi we were around 850 and it began blowing the spark out. Put some new plugs in and tightened the gap, put 2 more psi of boost in it And that netted us 928/973 just at 17psi. The car makes 900 across the board and is was a damn beast on the dyno. Brian really made the tune his bitch. We settled with that for the day, pretty awesome that the AMS 500 was able to control the boost very well with co2, from 2.5psi to 17psi. We will be adding 3 more psi of boost and get the car well over 1000 in the coming month. Just going to get some time in it the way it sits, we made plenty of pulls today so I figured we could give it a break. Here is the graph will post vid late tonight or tommarow. BTW injectors are only 88% duty cycle. E85 ftw. Thanks again Brian, the car is a damn beast cant wait to put some miles on it. Going to go through everything tomorrow and change fluids, car just starts up with so much ease and has amazing response it was only pulled to 6300 http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/1.jpg
  22. What fuel pump and injector size? Are you close to maxing out
  23. Cool that's a bunch of power out of that setup, is it a 5.7 ls1 bottom end
  24. What are the details of setup
  25. What size turbo and what size feed line. I know precision told me no restrictor for me, 4788 turbo and -4 feed
