  1. VERY NICE WORK! What chemicals did you use on the leather to achieve the finished product aside from scrubbing.
  2. yup good luck with fix and no way berto could of known, that stuff fails for no reason
  3. I spoke to him a month ago about the nova, he is no longer 100% RPD and tunes at IPS still. I emailed him through RPS website I think last time I talked to him, I will see if I can find that email.
  4. I am taking the 63 to goodguys to sell it
  5. yeah sounds like a trigger jerk. put an empty mag in it and jack the slide and work on your squeeze so that when the trigger is pulled the gun does not dip at all. They also sell dummy rounds so you can do this as well or practice malfunction drills.
  6. I think the before color works for the car better
  7. Powershack in picktown has a kidshack inside don't know the details but the gym is nice and not overcrowded
  8. Worked on vw for about 7-8 years never seen coolant leak issues on jetta/golf/beetles except coolant flanges on side of head which is a 50 dollar repair. Sometimes the afterun elec coolant pump will leak but very rare. There are a couple wheel bearing issues with age but replace them like anyother front wheel drive car. I have owned 15-20 volkswagens personally and all of them were great cars to own. If you find someone who borderline took care of a 2.0 car then you will be golden! There are great German parts stores online cheap for parts... Mjm autohaus, pap parts and ecs tuning to name a few
  9. Id just get a 2.0 those engines are amazing and the manual transmissions will go forever. Just change the tbelt...if not oh well they are non interference. The 1.8 is a great engine if maintained. The 5 speed trans is the same so no problems there only difference is a dual mass flywheel. The engine it self as long as oil is changed with synthetic then you are good. If has common leaks as far as cam seals on front of motor and then then chain tensioner seals on the back side..look like a valve cover leak but more expensive/time consuming to replace.
  10. you need to have a certain thickness shield over the sump as well if it protrudes into the open underneath the car
  11. I will have the fastest stock bottom end Lsx on here hopefully by summers end...

Yup I went friday and left at noon pretty much assuming there was no way to get track dry even if it stopped raining. But I am leaving here in about 10 minutes and will be sitting in section 2b I believe around 15 rows up today
  13. My 1500 I sold had a bad trans when I bought it, those trucks are notorious for that. I found one from a roll over being parted for 250 that claimed to have been rebuilt it was a very simple job Take out torque converter bolts Drop exhaust Remove starter Remove driveshaft Remove trans crossmember and support trans with a jack Disconnect linkage at trans Remove bellhousing bolts Remove transmission With hand tools you could easily do this on your back in a day. Change the fluid and filter and be on your way
  14. GREAT DEAL! Pat Kornenbetter builds amazing cages. GLWS
  15. That's not legal Wheres the lp light?!
  16. I had one when I was 14, damn thing topped out down hill at 26mph but it was cool to ride around legally on road at that age. Just get an endorsement on your license for it and goto town. I believe you are limited to two lane roads
  17. Call Franklin county animal control, they will come out and demand paperwork for all dogs. There is a dog confinement law, dogs must be on leash not running around unsupervised. All of the above are tickets however most don't pay and warrants are issued for their arrest. Short of expressing your concerns to the owner I'd call animal control and press the issue that they come out until they do, tgey are obviously very busy this time of year.
