  6. I have had several vw's and always restore the headlights after they get yellowed. I take the bumper cover off and wet sand the headlights then buff them with 3m plastic compounds for headlights, they will come out like new.

  9. yeah the fire ones are the ones to have. You arent using the truck intake, injectors or proly the harness anyways. I would assume you are going to at least do valve springs and tear the motor down. I would never buy a "good" 6.0l, when its cheaper to buy one thats had some heat and just go through it. If you look for about a month or two you will find a complete fire 6l for 4-500
  10. you can find 6l motors around ohio in the 6-800 range. The 5.3 motors are around 350.00. You typically will not find 6l motors cheaper than that.
  11. Hah yeah the floor shifter baffles me too. Straight 6 is for sure a cruiser nothing hi po about it.... It's begging for an ls motor
  12. well ill see what he says. I am thinking he has it so I can get it from him.
  13. nope on the stock gas tank. I may be able to get it from the original owner. I dont suspect the bike will last a week at the price. Just want the cash and garage space, But I wont go a dollar less than 900
  14. Clutch is installed and ready to ride out. I am throwing in a stand, service manual, oil and other miscellaneous maintenance items for the FIRM price of 900.00 http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/cr250.jpg
  15. should not have a problem at that price and mileage....glws
