  1. Cowl is not cracked and ash tray door is flawless... Amazed
  2. nope those red marks on the intake are from some oil change place from previous owner
  3. yup porno red and this style cervini hood is not my first choice but it is what it is. I think the car would look better with a boss cowl hood like my last 89gt http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_6944.jpg
  4. I put a t5 in it and still using that stage 3 or 3+ spec clutch... The one miller had in it before was doomed before he put it in since it had no 2nd gear. That trans took very little before it blew on him. This one came from a stock powered 5.0. I just want to get it tuned and get an exhaust on it that I can hear myself think, then put some miles on it to see if I wanna keep it or sell it. This car is super solid, I was impressed and since its only got like 73k original miles it may be a keeper. Andy said that who ever painted the car did an amazing job overall
  5. Andy came out on short notice again and worked his schedule to fit my needs. The mustang had been sitting for a while under a tree and he put in a lot of work and made the car look like it was just painted!! Andy has done a few cars for me now and his work is amazing, works cant describe the kind of work he does and the professionalism he has. wish I had some before and after photos but I dont... here is the link to the afters though http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94492
  6. Well I got this car from miller and it had been sitting for a little bit and the outside was pretty filthy. Had andy come out and polish the outside and as every other car he has done for me this one came out amazing, photos and words cant describe his work. Since I picked the car up I put a trans in it and I am going to build a magna flow exhaust for it next week since it has an open down pipe and then plan on getting it out to brian in a few weeks to get the tune all complete and see what it puts down. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0107.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0110.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0109.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0108.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0111.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0113.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0114.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_0102.jpg
  7. No longer for sale... Look for a turbo lsx build thread in oct-nov
  8. the guy I got the car from had an 8.5 5 lug reared from a 68 chevy for 100 bucks I should of taken but I did not have my truck to haul it home. I would do it the same as my 72 and change housing ends to big ford ends so I would not use gm c clips anymore. That is cheap I paid 90 at chassis shop for new ends to be welded on and tubes completely welded to center section. For less then a 1000 bucks I had 35 spline moser axles, full spool, gears, 1350 pinion yoke, big ford ends, girdle, all welding and rear setup. There is a turbo nova with 2 seasons going 8.20s @ 177 with a bunch of passes on identical setup. So some stuff would need welded but it's cheap and not a big deal
  9. 8.2 10 bolt. I will proly put an 8.5 in it if I do build it since you can find em for 100 bucks and iv already done one for the 72
  10. Nah there is a 62 chevy 2 with stock 308 open gears with turbo s400 5.3 bids going 10s and plenty of abuse still going. My 8.5 10 bolt is built and will take high boost low 8s all day
  11. different is an lsx in a first gen, they are a unique swap for this clip because there is not alot of room. If you do an aftermarket clip they fit better but the clips are starting around 2500.00. But as of now its still for sale. But if its still around once the 72 is finished then I will most likely start on the 63
  12. curb weight in current trim is 2545, I think a cammed 6.0l around 400-450rwhp would be a ton of fun
  13. No it did not sell. I fielded a ton of questions and had probably about 50 flyers on the car and about all of them were gone. I have a couple people who have called to come see the car this week. To be honest though I really would like to keep the car now, I have been planning a 6.0 lsx on paper that I could build for this car and have a little fun. We will see what the week brings though. Thanks for the bump
