  3. Ill proly bring it out there and run it on the wastegate and pump, make some 12 sec passes . Still have not put any miles on car to see how it drives on street but plan on doing that once I mount the new skins on it. Right now there are belts showing through the DR....thanks sam
  4. Well as most know I worked a deal with Vince (Nurkvinny) for the turbo bmw. I wanted to thank vince for being a straight forward guy and willing to help with any question or at least try and get them answered. I got it with a slight stumble and some idle issues. The car had been sitting for a while and figured it could use some maintenance items. I went to Autozone and got oil and filter and coolant. Went home changed oil and flushed coolant. I then went to Jegs and picked up some new NGK TR6 plugs,dist cap, rotor and wires. I gapped the plugs to .30 and fired it up. Ill be damned if the car did not idle near perfect and have great throttle response. Figured id idle it around the neighborhood and check out the transmission to see how well it shifted and it was super crisp and firm. The boost controller off and wastegate spring at 13# put a big grin on my face. I cant see a single reason at this point while driving this light ass car to turn the boost up past 13#. I ordered a new set of drag radials for the car today and will be installing them next week. The car gets absolutley no traction at this point it just blitzs the tires once the boost hits. Only plans at this point is putting an appointment together to have Andy (audion19s) come out to machine polish/buff the black and get some swirls out of the paint. And then I am going to clean engine bay and powder coat some items. Very pleased with car, thanks again Vince and Sam. I am sure like everything else it will be for sale in a couple years for someone else to enjoy for a while
  5. So I am doing some maintenance stuff and wanting to know opinions of spark plugs. 5.0 turbo w/ alum heads and cobra intake 13-15lbs boost NGK Tr6 or Autolite 103 I have read good and bad before. Just wondering what and why people use which plug.
  6. I vote for call on 3, or leave the car unmolested. I plan on digging into the BMW tuesday and getting it all smoothed out.

  8. Always use stephsons carpet cleaning. There is always a coupon out there and able to get like 6 rooms done for 90 bucks. we have them come out 2-3 times a year

  10. Yeah my clean ass fox went in trade.... It may be a lil while till it hits the streets I am going to go through the car and make sure it's safe

  12. man sometimes Id love to just hang around that place when people trade in cars and offer them more in the form of cash for their car. I have heard of some people trading in the cars there and getting raped.

  15. You gotta search all years seperate 99-03 for some reason car part will not pick up the cross reference I just saw one for 600s today, hell all foreign and domestic jy here in Columbus has one for 675 with 90 day warranty when I called
  16. Id buy a jy lq9, they can be had for around 600 bucks. Not sure what you are building but that is best bang for buck IMO
  17. Alot is undecided at this point. The car is not really a setup others have done as far as engine combination. It has a 1:1 regulator, running e85. I will be running between 12-18lbs of boost. I am running a th400 so figure 15% loss. Base pressure maybe around 40-50psi?

I cant say that it makes me feel better to have twin pumps but I guess the rest of my car as I am building it is ready for that next step if I take it there so I did not want to have to change anything except for injectors if I step it up hp wise. Matt are you running seperate feeds to your carb or is it one feed

  21. Interested in your idea. In theory the eliminator pump would be good for max 800-850 whp e85. I was thinking running one additional standard a1000 pump then join both pump feed into a y block -10 feed single line to front then y out into rails. Just to keep the one a1000 pump from getting hot from being overworked
