  1. need a radio for my GTI, looking for something that has good sound output and is cheap. A detachable face would be nice but not a requirement
  2. how often do you mop your basement? do you have a workshop down there or something? I would go with commercial mop head replacements from a janitorial supply company here local.
  3. I took the whitehall test about 4 years ago and got an offer, they only place like the top 75 and then go down the list, I think there was like 300 people who took the test. The test was not that bad from what I recall
  4. gahanna hardware will have what you want for sure, they stock odd sizes
  5. I will be pulling this carrier in about 2 weeks, wanted to see interest on here before it goes on ebay when its removed. I bought it on ebay almost 2 years ago and I put hardly no miles on it. The seller then said the clutches had been replaced. I never had a problem with the posi once. It came out of a first camaro but I had it in my 72 nova CR Price is 280.00 will post pics and casting numbers once it is on the table
  6. they do have different models on amazon but I am sure bestbuy has the hd one only. As long as the price is 300 youll be good. I know amzone had some standard def ones for around 180.00
  7. you can select the 1080 quality at the bottom, cool footage
  8. I bought one on amazon 3 days ago with Christmas money, I love the vids on their site. Hope it is all that is suppose to be. The newest model camera and firmware is suppose to have alot better sound quality, you can see quite a few on you tube and I think the sound is awesome
  9. how does carhartt size? is the size like a suit jacket or is it like a waste measurment?
  10. Good deal I have these in nova from jegs I got a deal and paid 300
  11. ACE on groveport rd is the best place you will find local for a price unless you know someone who is next in line for a smelter that cuts out the middle man.
  12. Yep more than likely this engine will go in the mustang after I build a 6.0 for the nova. There is a 5.3 with a gt2 cam (small) and stock everything else going 8's on e85 and making 685whp with plenty a street miles in a light gen1 rx7. I have been watching these motors do work since parish started out. I will never do gen 1 again
  13. Yeah I welded some -10 an fittings on each cover and plan on doing seperate evac catch cans for the breather system
  14. Wife did well for Christmas and got me a pair of 275/60/15 MT DR and a Moser Rear end Girdle http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01049.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01050.jpg And then a Big Thanks for VS Racing, I initially bought a mpt70 q trim 1.0ar for the nova and once I bought the abruzzi th400 and decided to do all the chassis work and have the rear end built I figured more boost was in order. VS racing gladly returned my mpt70 that was brand new in box after about 3-4 months and upgraded me for the additional cost to the mpt76 q trim wheel http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01051.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/DSC01052.jpg
  15. yeah I proly started about 3 years after the class opened up but I remember a honda prelude that did very well in the class my first year and then there was an old mk1 8v gti that ran out there but always had problems with the csi. But just let me know
  16. hell I may still have it I am not going to really budge on the price unless the seat comes out of the car or a good trade. Its a little tougher to sell in the winter when racing season is 3.5 months away. But you cant build a car for what this car is and the setup takes a while to figure out ride height, camber and spring rubbers. This car is solid and you barely lift in the turns
  17. you can have imports, there are hondas and an old vw in the class. Auto is not that bad, there is alot more driving than you think in the class especially when there are 3 and 4 wide racing and not alot of time in the straights, I have raced this class for 3 years and its alot of fun, and they try to keep it fair by having strict requirments, like anything else though a few people cheat.
  18. yeah, I have alot of money and time in it, but its nice if something does break you goto pick and pull and for next to nothing you are back on the track. you can practice with the car on weds/thurs for 5.00 bucks and then on saturdays 20.00 gets you in the race. Usually there are 2 mains and its a load of fun.
  19. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_6665.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_6671.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/3wide.jpg
  20. Off topic kind of but what is the percentage of the settled amount that insurance companies let you buy a car back?
