  1. Already have a1000 eliminator it would be cheaper and possibly better to get a twin setup going but just looking for any feedback
  2. Anyone running twin a1000 pumps? What kind of power are you able to support and what regulator are you using. I have 1 a1000 eliminator pump but thinking about getting a second a1000 and just running 2 a1000 pumps instead of having to boost voltage to one pump and making it work hard on e85. Need to support 700whp e85 but want it to work for upto 1000whp. Not too interested in a cable drive at this point
  3. Some changes to the build. I bought a set of stainless lsx turbo headers and ditched the factory manifold approach. and also had a custom grind turbo cam spec'd and got some new valve springs. Seems like I have seen a couple of these engines with e85 make around 700whp. So that is now my goal. I figure with this setup I will either put rods and pistons in this block next winter or do a 6.0 with rods and pistons along with the same components matched to a pte-88 and go 8's here are the headers I just picked up http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/LSXT.jpg
  4. the hotside parts were going in my turbo nova and may still, but looking into some tubular stainless options now
  5. I changed my hotside setup so offering these up W Body 5.3 Cast tubular manifolds and stock crossover pipe for a custom turbo setup. Changed my plans for the setup I have and now selling these manifolds. These are very clean and make for a clean custom setup on many lsx turbo swaps. here is a pic from another car on here that used this setup in his car. These manifolds are 200.00 each at dealer and the stock crossover allows you to get the flanges for the manifolds to make a good seal. price is plus shipping. PICTURES SHOW YOU WHAT YOU CAN CREATE WITH THESE STOCK PARTS LISTED. COMES WITH 2 MANIFOLDS AND CROSSOVER FLANGES TO MAKE A TURBO HOT SIDE that setup made mid 600's whp 295 plus ship Includes stock parts only

    SOLD!

    Pm sent I'll take em
  7. hey matt so that 29 dollar one is what you run? you have any trouble getting upto double the wg spring rate in adjustment with that controller and not get boost spikes
  8. Ams running that deal? I am still torn on that or a hallman NBC, the car drinks e85 so I doubt I will be messing with it too much, it will proly be on 15-18lbs all the time. I just like not messing with springs and the SMS controlling from nothing to 40lbs on a dial with same spring
  9. I have considered it but you can get an ams500 for 350-400 and a Gould manual controller like a hallman is 110ish so for the 250 difference I think I'd like to have the ramp adjust and easy adjustability. What manual controller do you have and do you use co2
  10. right on thanks Ray, I am leaning towards the 500, My build is already through the roof in $$ so I am not spending 1k on a ams1000...but from reviews the ams500 is a very nice piece and will work fine for my jy setup i believe
  11. I have it narrowed down to ams500 or eboost2 controller, anyone have experience with these controllers or have a pitch for something that will work well with my 5.3 single turbo build for high boost to low boost settings
  12. he had a couple other novas in the shop and they were mounted the same way but we will see whenever it needs hung out
  13. here is a pic of the rear end girdle cover you did erik, it turned out well http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y216/1972nova/IMG_7506.jpg
  14. Got the car back home last night, Here are some pics of the current state. I plan on doing some finish work to the firewall and replace the master cylinder here this week. I am waiting on my PTC converter and then the engine/trans goes in. Car got New full length floor pans, 10pt Cage, Window Net, Through the floor frame connects, aluminum package tray, parachute, fuel cell mount, finished some welding on firewall, build rear end with big ford housing ends, moser spool, 33 spline axles, 3.23 gear, moser girdle and install all the calvert stuff out back. 19. No I kind of threw it out here and on bullet just to get a feeler, I am kind of interested in putting an lsx in it but been thinking about climbing into a legends car as well. If it sells great, and if it doesn't that's cool as well.
