In your lease versus purchase comparison you are assuming they trade or sell after the 60 months of payments. The comparison is way different if you keep the car for 10+ Years. (I know not likely on a car forum). I almost have my Suburban paid off and while I am looking at pickups the attraction of 0 car payments is very strong.

I think your score prediction is a good one - the team is saying all the right things and, if they show up, they should control this game. USC is a year or 2 away. That being said, a great QB can cover a lot of flaws and they have a great QB. How about the Big Ten so far?

I am fine with OSU being out - just to be clear. You simply cannot lose by 30 to an unranked team and expect to get in. That is why I pointed to Wisconsin. They have the same resume as Alabama. I don’t want to hear about the “eye test” either - go back and watch some of Alabama’s work against garbage teams. They often struggled and cannot consistently throw the ball. In a year when everybody agrees the SEC has a down year they get 2 teams in - makes no sense. I do hope they get manhandled but, given the recruiting they have done and their ridiculously conservative game plans, they may keep them close and steal one or 2 of them.

Did you just use wins over “bowl eligible” teams as a measuring stick? You cannot be serious. Just how bad is Alabama’s schedule when that is the direction you need to go.

I hope they keep both OSU (bad loss) and Bama our (terrible schedule). In Bama’s case what is the incentive to schedule tough teams if they let those dudes in.

Completely agree. No way they keep Wisconsin out if they win. If OSU wins they may have to choose between a team with 2 losses - 1 good one and 1 horrible loss versus a team with 1 loss and literally no good wins.
