    Friend or Fake?

Are you going to be driving the slow one or the 03?
  2. How much spray can the wife's car hold? Just kidding man - sorry to see this!

    Friend or Fake?

Text her - that works best;-)
  4. Bring an extra set of T-tops. Saw one fly off at Kilkare.
  5. I never remember which one is flame retardent and which one is not (SA vs MA)
  6. FWIW I went to Iron Pony - they have a ton of them - a much better selection than Jegs. I was able to find a full face Snell and DOT rated helmet for 89.99.
  7. Were you at the "End of Summer Drags" at Kilkare on Sunday? If so, the car is badass.
  8. I have always wanted to go to Hawaii - thanks for sharing.
  9. Welcome - there is an easy fix for the cat.....
  10. Nice to see a compliment about service in this industry - not easy to come by for sure!
  11. Looks good man - cannot wait to see it in action!
  12. Leilani - leave as soon as he stages - lol.
  13. I start my new job on the 24th so the 29th is out for me unfortunately. I would have liked to line up with several of you. I am heading to Kilkare on Sunday instead for the "End of Summer Drags". I did sign up though (and paid)- unlike many of the others here!
  14. I actually agree with this....somehow. It truly pains me to say.
  15. lol - I could not resist - I just cannot take that the T/A lost to the Goat. It is a pride thing - lol.
  16. I want to see the T/A run to it's potential (I am sure not as badly as you do). I want it to be an example of what one of these things can do on a stock block when they are set up properly. In answer to your question: C5 Z06 or a C5 Z06. You could always look for a C5 Z06.
  17. To me "streetable" means pump gas, reasonable fuel economy, you can carry on a conversation while driving without too much problem, and you are not harassed by Johnny Law at every opportunity. There is a difference, to me, between "streetable" and "can you drive it on the street". I have always viewed "streetable" as would the car function well as a daily driver. If it takes something other than pump gas it would not function well as a daily. Same goes for economy - while it is all relative a car that gets 2 MPG is not going to work well as a dail so, TO ME, it would not be "streetable".
  18. From what I understand GM made some improvements to the rear suspension in the 87s and 88s that made them extremely capable road course cars. Someone was saying a Fiero is a "pig" - they weighed 2500-2700 pounds. While this is not light by 2 seater standards compared to most other cars it is low weight. GM was ahead of the times with the "plastic panels", from what I read the cars had to pass the collision tests without the body panels in place.
  19. VIN decode says 86 Fiero SE v6, production #6038 - I kind of cheated - I had an 85 Fiero GT - 4spd so I knew the black lower panels made it an SE. I loved mine. It was plenty quick for me at the time, at least 0-30. I think I liked the mid engine layout the best - the sound was good too! I would definitely own another one. It is funny, it seems that everyone that has owned a Fiero with a V6 would love to have another one whereas most who had one with the "Iron Duke" 4 would never own another.
  20. or get beat by cars that are no where near as fast as what we drive;-)
  21. Actually it appears to be an 86 or later SE V6. The 85s came with a 4 speed and the lower body panels were dark gray not black. The 87+ GTs were the hatchback styles (maybe 88 not sure).
  22. Not even a Bengal fan should say that was a good call.
