  1. It was a clan war attack. The normal attacks are not as bad but all are rated higher than I am.
  2. It's a game of bullying...I cannot remember the last time I was attacked by someone lower than me level-wise. Dude dropped 10 level 4 dragons and a barbarian king on me and I am only at level 43
  3. Man I hate that I love this game. The clan I am in now is 10v10 and 3 of our guys did not attack...that's awesome
  4. Cannot say how happy I am for you and I cannot agree more.
  5. It's stupid in know but I cannot bring myself to tear it apart. It is way too nice to be picked apart...someone with no attachment to it will have to do it, though inthink it is a better idea to rebuild it
  6. Waiting for a final number. I may buy it back to sell it but will do it only as a complete car. I don't have time to piece it out
  7. Well I will give him 325.00, I want to go fast. 9's here I come
  8. If I could do the work myself or knew somebody that did it on the side the story might be different.
  9. I have the quote from Achbach. I am certain I could cut the cost significantly (I.e. HID bulb for 300) since he is quoting all new GM parts versus knock offs or used. Still, cutting the parts price in half, say 7k, you will have at least 10-12k in it. That is assuming the ECM, wiring harness, and steering rack do not need to be replaced. The harness was cut but he cannot tell how bad. At the end of the day, I wills have more in it than it is worth to fix and would never be able to get my money out of it. That is my thinking currently anyways.
  10. Making a list but it may be a while since I just bought the Suburban (we refuse to have more than 1 car payment). A 2nd gen V is definitely on the list as are: - challenger / charger SRT8 - all of the stupid hellcat promo stuff has me wanting at least an sRt8 - C6 vert - I am now old enough - M3 vert - Audi S5 Thinking of what's next helps me cope - so pissed off right now.
  11. It's the "V" parts that are expensive...$1k each for the Hood, bumper cover and HID headlamp assembly. $500 for the stainless grill. $1k for the engine cradle. Aluminum suspension parts... I am sure it can be fixed and returned the road for less but I wanted it to be right. If it cannot be made right for a reasonable amount I will find something else at some point.
  12. Dab just called me so Insurance will know tomorrow. I will find out all of the details. So hard to believe a hit like that can total it. I have the parts list and I can get some of the parts much cheaper but still cannot get it to where it is worth fixing from a pure economic stand point.
  13. Well, it is official, it is totalled and in Dan's opinion not worth fixing. Total estimate was 22k...parts alone were 14,500
  14. Actually the PCM is mounted to the outside of the lower frame rail and it was not hit.
  15. He was just commenting that parts can be expensive. Mine just needs a fender. The lower frame assembly was untouched. It just wadded up the fender. Upper shock Mount area looks good as well. It is really hard for me to see a total here but I don't know.
  16. Update: Had not heard from Achbach so I dropped by to speak to Dan. He is a really nice guy and confessed he had 9 cars dropped to him on Friday, was a bit behind, and had not gotten to my CTSv yet. Since I was there he sort of "bumped it to the top". He went and looked it over with me. He has to price the parts but thought the damage was "manageable". The big things he was worried about are not damaged. Based on his quick "once over" he noted, in addition to the obvious front quarter, hood, grill, front fascia: - impact missed the frame rail - fender was "peeled" cleanly away from the rail (good news) - impact just missed the PCM (also good news) - drivers side suspension took the heaviest hit - lower control arm looks good but will be replaced as it is aluminum and no way to verify stress fractures (apparently) - the impact to the lower control arm bent the mounting point on the engine cradle so a new cradle is in order(that sucks) - no impact damage to the motor or any significant components - split the airbox - that will need replaced - coolant and power steering fluids were drained - obvious power steering line damage - not sure where the coolant leak is - radiator or hose - will need a new tire - broken belt I am not sure what that adds up to at this point or how they are valuing it but Dan seemed hopeful it was not totalled. He did say GM will not sell a "quarter panel" replacement part - it will be the entire side of the car (front quarter, roof, rear quarter). I found that interesting - they will cut out what they need. Unfortunately it costs $1,800.00. On another note, I spoke to Ryan (RC K9) this afternoon and he shared some valuable insight on dealing with the claim. I appreciate that support from members of the board. It was good talking to him.
  17. It's big, you need a good size room for it. I had to tilt it at a 45 degree angle to put it in the back of my suburban as it is too tall.
