  1. No I stopped in and talked with the mgr about it. I have a staple gun coming today will be testing it tonight if it works out good I will have the floor up and back in right probably Wed. If you need help laying the floor I can give ya a hand and bring all my tools as well but I thing Autumn has to work so the boys may be coming with me as well.
  2. Personally I like the darker color but it will show dirt/dust a lot more then the lighter color.
  3. yeah one at a time for sure. Found out I have to tear it all up and relay it thou. When we bought it was were told it was a floating floor. Turns out its not needs to be glued or stapled. Will staple it. Figure it its a lesson learned that the guy selling the flooring doesn't always know what they are talking about. shouldn't be too bad to do thou I figure since everything is all cut we be able to remove it stack it in rows and have it back in about 2 hrs.
  4. Hey we did our foyer this weekend turned out great. If you have any question give me a call. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/house/100_2023_fb.jpg
  5. Also need to repaint the walls and the front door but now sure what color we want to do yet.
  6. So got a bug to finally replace the linoleum tile we had in your foyer. It had started to shrink and come unglued and pulled away from the wall. Went the the decor and flooring store on Mill Run and found some engineered flooring that we really liked the color and patterns of. Anyway here are a couple pics. Here's a before pic. the secton that cut out was the area that was already pulled away from the wall. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/house/100_2016.jpg Needed a saw to do the work so I picked up this from Home Depot and for $115 was a good deal for the type of work I will be using it for. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/house/100_2017.jpg pulled all the trim sanded it down and repainted it cleaned everything up installed the floor (which was surprisingly easy to do). After. http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/house/100_2018.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/house/100_2019.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/house/100_2021.jpg http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b180/smskinner/house/100_2023_fb.jpg Still need to counter sink some nails, caulk the trim, a do a couple touchups but overall very happy with the results. Glad we did a small area (80 sq feet) first time around to have a idea of how to do everything. Next up is the laundry room and half bath. Think we will do a mix of wood and tile but not 100% yet.
  7. nice truck not a fan of the stacks. you should scuff the paint and paint it flat black.

  9. depending on width and thickness cherry can go for has much as 20 per sq foot.
  10. hit it with some armor all to see if it hides it if it does do it again when you turn it in.
  11. agreed I like the idea of it just needs to be a better way to do it.
  12. yeah the slip on connections are great. I changed one out at the in-laws. was very easy to do.
  13. no way I would base jump off of that. hitting the tension lines during free fall would kill you or geting your chute tangled up can't be good either.
  14. is it lifting the door straight or cockeyed?

  17. This year we agreed we wouldn't do much for each otherthis year. She got some jewelry and a gift card she wanted. I got a wallet a Jeep Rock key and a shirt. Spent all the money on the kids. The real gift money that we would have spent on each other we are going to do tile flooring on our main level.
