I have a cannon, it’s good. Was a gift so can’t complain there but wish it had a key backup. Inside long gun storage is meh but works well enough. If you are a home-brew engineer type, moving them isn’t bad at all. I had mine more than 3/4 into the basement before the FIL stopped by to help. Went much faster and easier admittedly after his arrival but hey, I was managing.

I had a few squibs in 45, contacted their CS and was basically told to pound sand. I started asking around and there were many other reports of similar issues so I’ve opted to voice my concern with my $. Hopefully they work out well for you, they didn’t for me. Edit: to be fair I’ve never had an issue with any of my 9, haven’t touched any of the 40 yet but the 45 I won’t use anymore. I’ve also moved what I have left in all calibers from them to the back of the SHTF pile.

I used to buy freedom often but they had a bunch of bad QC incidents so I’ve shied away from there for now. Anyone got the skinny on 458 socom/50 Beowulf in a reasonable quantity? I don’t want to drop a ton on cases but not get nickle and dimed on a box here and there either.

I used to live about 15 mins from the Boardman Fin location. I would go there before anywhere else for supplies. Now it's a bit more of a drive and I'm about equidistant from the Canton or Boardman locations. Luckily I work over near Toledo so the hotel I usually pick is a walk away from their Rossford location. I try to pop in and stock up while on the road. If anyone hasn't been there yet, it's worth a trip. (Maybe when all this dies down)

I know there are options out there for powder charge indicating but I’m not to the place where I would really benefit from it. I don’t shoot nearly enough to justify the purchase so single stage is fine for now. I just like being able to make rounds when the tards drive up the price.

Most of the complaints I see are within the setup of the press no matter the brand. After you work out the kinks, they usually flow well. I’ve been debating on going progressive myself and the only caution I see over and over is to watch closely and be sure there is a powder drop. That’s the biggest miss on a progressive, people go into robot mode and miss a powder drop for a squib.

How do you like the boxes? I've been contemplating on upgrading my craftsman to the bigger HF medium boxes for more room.

I have a half face respirator for work that I can wear when needed for longer durations. I also found an old N95 mask from my steel mill days tucked away in the top of my old hardhat so I wear that out in public. I wish there were more people wearing masks while out and I wish they would stress that masks DO NOT mean you can get close to people. I swear it seems like most people now either think the mask is a magic virus fix or they are just assholes and love to crowd close to people with a mask on.

Depending on batches, the paint may be a match or close enough, depends on how particular you are. My FIL got quite a few painted OEM and non-OEM parts from amazon and ebay with varying degrees of success on the match.

I've rebuilt my own in the past but getting parts is hard anymore. Most just have them rebuilt or get remans.
