From my experience buying at a local retailer runs about the same as online. Unless you know someone who can get it at wholesale you’re paying about the same. I’d be curious as well if there are sites I haven’t come across though

Most of what I’m looking at is vastly cheaper online even after ffl fees. Guess it depends on the item though because some things are pretty close after you factor in shipping and ffl.

What are everyone’s go to buy sites? Or do you prefer local?

I’ve bought from buds and academy through ffl in the past with good experiences but now that I’m in wv I don’t have a trustworthy ffl yet. Seems that for being a poor redneck state, gun prices ftf are through the roof here.

If you're stocking up for the year(s) a trip to KY can absolutely be worth the time.

 

I don't remember the store (may have been the party source) but I was blown away when I saw handles of sailor jerry on sale for less than half what i'd pay in ohio. I absolutely bought out the 4 remaining bottles on the shelf.

 

I'd say make the trip to KY, hit a few different stores and pick up sale items and some 190 proof everclear since I believe its now illegal in all states but KY and NV. Good for drinking, cleaning, disinfecting, engine fuel, brain fuel...you name it. Just use it like vodka, only use less than 1/2 of much. Less "watering down" of your drinks.

You can buy 190 everclear in ohio, I just got a case not too long ago. You usually have to ask for it because they don't keep it on the shelves.
