  1. Making the change is the hardest part. Congrats and best of luck.
  2. I have a pair of E5620's I'd sell for cheaps or a mt dew mug.
  3. What he said ^ I doubt he put hat much into it, and the advertisers are inflating the prices most likely. DED and Fred are one of my favorites aside from roadkill.
  4. Die from Carbon monoxide poisoning, leave the car to Joans in my will? Edit: in all seriousness, if I hadn't bought the scat pack I'd be on this like you wouldn't believe.
  5. True true, but I don't want to sleep on the garage and eat ramen noodles for the next year. There's no heat in the garage and no microwave for my ramen!
  6. I'm in the same boat, but I just chug along like Bucky Poo. I'm still trying to find my new thing since I'm not that into the car thing anymore, mostly because there are fewer car people here than there are anywhere. Just try and find something that sparks your interest and go with it.
  7. Wife said I could, don't think she realizes how much it costs though.
  8. You could always just buy him a damn mug with the caveat that he makes a few threads a month about his "dew ventures"
  9. I'm in for a few $, let's start a gofundme for the mug explosion. :lolguy:
  10. Go get a po box in Columbus if it's that big of a deal, and fucking lol.
  11. Great episode, I hope they bring it back.
  12. Dale from tach-it-up was abusing his to like 8k iirc road racing and all sorts. He beat the piss out of his motor trying to toast it and it never did let go. He came to one of my drag rentals and hearing his vette launch was beautiful music. He'd hold it at the 8k (or whatever) limiter and just dump the clutch. His goal was to scatter the bottom end but after many many passes, he quit trying. Lol. He would scare people away from the line holding that thing there screaming away. :lolguy:
  13. Personally, I think all the horror stories about too high rpm were overblown. Is it great for longevity? Probably not, but I doubt most spinning to 7k are gonna grenade as soon as they hit 7001. ;-)
  14. I had a cam in mine, no bottom end work. I ran pac style 918 springs with the titanium retainers and hardened pushrods. Rod bolts were stock and everyone said that is the weak point. Meh.... Guy that ended up with my car never changed the limiter or shift points from what I've been told and it's into the 9's still spinning to 7k without issue.
  15. Everyone said I was playing with fire so I dropped the limiter to 7200 and started shifting at 7000. Left it there till I sold the car. :fuckyeah:
  16. For the longest time I had the limiter on my LS1 at 7500 and I shifted at 7200.
  17. I have several of these in the house, all work fine. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-Switcher-definition-video-3-Port-HDMI-Switch-Splitter-for-HDTV-PS3-1080P-FE-/331693486417?hash=item4d3a78f151:g:ReEAAOSw~uhUmqSi
  18. Then I couldn't afford the car! :gabe:
  19. :lolguy: I'm too far away and need a better storage solution more permanent than winter.
