No 990x, no care.

I have a toro my old neighbor in Dayton gave me because he couldn't get it to work anymore. I reset the breaker and fired it up! I offered it back but he said I fixed it, it's mine. Either way, I've had it for over 10 years and I've only replaced the battery once I believe. I replaced the original charger with a proper sealed lead acid battery tender and no problems since.

I have a base model Honeywell wifi and it's nice. I should have opted for a higher end model but overall, I like it MUCH better than the Nest it replaced.

Is it drivable as it is now?

I haven't seen anything from life proof yet. I live by my life proof case, my phone stays in my pocket and can get soaked.

They tried to squeeze mine in September but didn't get it through. I'm in no rush.

I don't need to hear about performance blah blah either, if I wanted performance I wouldn't be worried about gas cost anyway. I want a nice car with a good range, period. Keep the other frilly shit for Hollywood.

I will say that I've been riding for years and I took the riders course because I thought it was the quickest shortcut to my endorsement. I'm extremely thankful I took the course because I rode dirt bike a lot as well and figured I'd breeze through. I will say the criticism I got from the course instructors could very well save my life someday. The biggest thing that stuck in my head after they advised me of everything I did wrong bringing my dirt experience to the road was, "dirt is forgiving, pavement is not. Especially if car is behind you." You may not realize how many things you do on a dirt bike that could put you in a bad way on a road bike until someone points it out and explains it.

I don't need to sell mine but if I do I'll get something better. If not I plan on doing something similar. Just make it mine, change the rear fender for sure and clean it up.

I can afford it, just can't convince the wife to spend that much up front.

That was my suspicion but the way they handled it was a joke. I ordered before the panic but my order got delayed over and over, yet orders placed after the panic at higher prices were being filled. When questioned about it they offered to refund and cancel the order neglecting to make mention of their absurd restocking fee. They basically punished those who ordered at lower prices and I swore them off since. I'm sure there are better guns out there but for something that will spend nearly all of its life on a shelf, I'll give it a try for the price. Gotta be better than a hipoint right? :gabe:
