  1. I joined several around my area and all I can say is POTATO. I may try to let them ride for a few more days but I'm fighting the urge to leave the groups already.
  2. I think price would determine the level of interest honestly.
  3. This for sure. Dude could get bank for pain and suffering plus damages to his business image.
  4. I want dat sub but the drive. Glws
  5. They never went 5mph with us.
  6. Came here to post freedom, already covered. Carry on.
  7. If it's real brass, recycle it.
  8. We met up as they rolled through, an entire group of us just lined up on the side of the highway. As they approached, they let us all merge in. We didn't participate officially so we just cruised with them. When we got to the destination we parked elsewhere and proceeded to look around. It's been a while but I think we could have registered when we got there and parked with them but most decided not to. I believe you can partially participate, just check the link and register for the portions you can. There are lots of threads and info on this, just search around and read up.
  9. I've ridden with through a couple of stops, never done the whole thing though. Lots of fun.
  10. I agree. Used furnace equipment is pretty much destined for the recycle bin unless you find that one buyer looking for what you have. You may have better luck offloading the ac unit if someone is looking to upgrade or replace on the cheap though.
  11. I thought about getting something similar but couldn't justify the cost. Later I thought about trying to find a pallet jack on Craigslist for doing simple stuff but the storage space it would require was too much for me. In the long run, I don't mind the little extra effort for a jack and jack stands for the little I need to do anymore.
  12. Unfortunately I think you have similar ideas that many (including myself) now have. The Ls and sbc are so popular that it's hard to find something it hasn't already been stuffed into. I'd love to find an old car, a real oddball and put a stupid boosted Ls mill into it. I thought about an old ltd, been done. Old mirage? Done.... There are so few that haven't been swapped that it's nearly pointless now to find one. Since everyone is out there looking to do this, it's just driving up the prices on many of these cars making them more unobtainable for the regular to do. I think I'm just going to find something that suits me and my budget, which as time goes on seems less and less likely.
  13. I put 8.1.2 on my iPad and 6+, no issues
  14. Unfortunately this is common. I usually nitpick the electrical when I buy a house and the place I have now was a mess. Our home inspector asked why I didn't do it myself. :gabe: I just laughed and said bank won't let me then he wrote down all the shit I pointed out to him. Saved him from having to do it but he admitted I found way more shit then he likely would have.

  16. Ok, pics added. Can't fix the size. That was hard enough to do on an iPad.
  17. In my experience, way too many people think "wire is wire" and just do all kinds of crazy shit for me to assume anymore. Once the covers are on, most inspectors don't look or care about colors.

  19. H62H2-TI motherboard (Full Retail Box) http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Product/Product_Detail.aspx?DetailID=1376&MenuID=103&LanID=0 Intel G1620 CPU (Full Retail Box) http://ark.intel.com/products/71073/Intel-Celeron-Processor-G1620-2M-Cache-2_70-GHz 2x1gb DDR3 SODIMM Ram (OEM) Things to mention: It's cheap because I hate the mobo. Getting it to boot seems to be flakey, not sure it plays nice with the mSATA port or if my power brick is weak. Once it's running, it performs flawlessly and it seemed to boot better with a regular SATA drive but I'm tired of messing with it. No power supply is needed. It runs off of a dell laptop power brick which can easily be found. For extra, I can include a 240gb mSATA ssd,a Habey ITX case and a dell power brick. I used this for an HTPC but since we have a PS3, x360 and Amazon Fire Stick, it rarely gets used so it's time to let it go. Guess I'll keep it, lock it up
