  1. 13.09@120.30mph ... holy shit, wheelspin much? Welcome to CR. Be sure to stand in line for your CD of Radar Love. EDIT: after reading whole first page - curse you Mensan!
  2. Hmm you folks must be trolling wierd board then, because all the ford feed back I see is thumbs up for the GTO or honest criticism. The Mach guys tend to waste breathe on repeating they're faster, but thats about all I see. I've seen more anti-GTO posts on this board from GM owners. I like it, even if it is too slow and the doors are too big to open in parking spots *cough* f-body-flashback *cough*.
  3. I highly doubt he has $30k in the bike. If he does, he's a colossal dumbass, and I got some beachfront porperty in Nebraska to talk to him about...
  4. The Z06 was made to be an autocross car? graemlins/wtf.gif
  5. Will it go for more thant the 05 LS2 powered ones (if they come out)? No. Quote me on that. tongue.gif
  6. +1 on the shifter first. That one mod will lower your ET by giving faster smoother shifts. The stock 5speed shifter placement and travel, while not as bad as the 6speed, still sucks.
  7. You and 4 other people. The Mustang will continue to outsell the shit out of anything else out there. Back to the new goat. Sweet news with the LS2. As for whoever it was that was speculating on the lower power earlier models becoming more rare/collectible because of it... not likely. All the old muscle cars of a lower power trim consistently collected lower dollar values than their higher power versions, regardless of their rarity. For example I can't think of any 350 or 396 Chevelles that outpriced a 454, and there were some odd combos in the 350s... etc. I doubt the GTO will be any different come 2025. Anyhow, I'm itching to see one.
  8. ROFL. I wouldn't know whether to brag or complain.
  9. Wow and I thought hotel night shift work would be relaxing and soothing. DOH.
  10. Always try to pile on multiples thru one company. If you rent an apartment, do renter's insurance thru them also. It'd be like only $10/month, but you'll most likely get back more than that due to the multiple insurance discount.
  11. Missed it - had to put my sister's (also my previous) cat down. Pancreatic cancer. Bummer day.
  12. <$200/yr for a 94 ZX-11 and 02 Road Star Warrior. Thru Progressive. But its via a subcontract by AAA, who's got our cars and home owners insurance on it. 36 with a few tickets.
  13. Where are they rubbing? If they're rubbing on the sidewall be very careful! In fact, if so, I'd reccommend getting it clearanced asap.
  14. Money went for new addition to the garage. Yamaha Road Star Warrior. http://www.xioserv.com/Image/mowgli.MVC-004Fs.JPG http://www.xioserv.com/Image/mowgli.MVC-006Fs.JPG http://www.xioserv.com/Image/mowgli.MVC-001Fs.JPG And I actually squeezed both in with room for the car. http://www.xioserv.com/Image/mowgli.MVC-004Fs-b.JPG 200 series rear. 1700 engine. 640lbs wet (ugh). About 105ft-lbs of torque to the wheel, though. Easily slower than the ZX11 on the top, but its no slouch, and holds the ZX off to 60mph easy, and the Cobra over 100mph (didn't try beyond that). Sorta "the sportbike rider's cruiser". R1 inverted forks. 4 pot binders. Fuel Injected. Best cornering clearance in the cruiser world. Great around town bike, and that's mostly what I'm gonna use it for, so I'm happy. It was down to between this, the honda VTX, and the Suzuki Marauder. Got the RSW. Anyone on here own a VTX (either the 1300 or the 1800), a Marauder or, the Harley V-Rod? I'd kinda like to hear what I missed out on. I can either bring this or the Cobra up to Quantum for the thing on the 5th (if I'm not in Cinci, see below) Wease - if you're reading this, we should be heading down to Edgewater this weekend. I'll know by end of day Weds for sure. Send me a PM if you're still interested in going too. Going to clock my 04 time for the Cobra and the rest of the summer's going to go toward the new bike. 15. The Columbus Racing Wet Blanket. ------------------------- EDIT: oops I meant to put this in Parking Lot
  16. Rode as a passenger in one. That count? Don't forget low power. graemlins/finger.gif Ok, really really out of this thread now. If you got issues with me give me a PM. If you got issues with RWD and AWD being a better platform than FWD, take it to the www.Columbus-Kinda-Nice-Cars-But-Lets-Not-Discuss-Racing-Basics.com forum.
  17. Yeah the Cobra's been on the track. In the exact same trim it goes to the grocery store every day. Nelson Ledges, Mid Ohio, Edgewater, Norwalk, Trails. 19,000 miles on the odo and on my 3rd set of tires. You got a point? Where did I say FWD couldn't be raced? Try to read my words, not make up stuff in between the lines to feed your complex. Bah, defensive insecure people. Read my previous post. I'm really out now.
  18. Know what? Nevermind. Some people can't hear engineering principles without getting their personal mores in a bind. I can see where this thread is going: Me: 2+2 = 4 Dude #1: You know, I own a 5 and I see no reason why 2+2 can't equal 5 if you like what you drive and enjoy the styling. So in certain situations 2+2 does equal 5, and thats ok. Me: 1+1 = 2 Dewd #2: Oh fuck you! Its 3 you bitch! What are you, against odd numbers or something? Fucking odd number racist mullet wearing jihad. Even numbered dinosaur assholes. Die in hell!
  19. I'm shooting the next faggot that puts an GT-R on a Mustang.
  20. High school kids should be driving FWD Civics until they learn how to drive. Because "You can also have a fun peformance car that drives the front wheels...".
