I doubt that there are many people on this board that would ever own a show car as well. I believe that this car isn't rice, simply because it isn't a car at all. Show cars are nothing more than very expensive and complicated pieces of art. They have no REAL purpose other than just to look at. They are not meant to touch asphalt, EVER, and in some cases can actually increase in value rather than depriciate (sp?) like normal vehicles.

I don't see how it's "rice." It's obviously meant to be a show car.

yep... i'm leaving for Marine Corps boot camp on Monday. It'll most likely be a year or two before i even get the chance to see combat. After boot camp, i'll have to go to infantry training and then onto language school. I just gotta make it through boot first though.

Well, due to my upcoming departure, and lots of thinking, i've decided to sell the Escort. On Sunday, i gutted the entire thing in order to remove all the lights, TV, stereo, PS2, and lots of various wires and such. Now i've got about 5 days to piece the interior back together before i leave. I sure am gonna miss this car. I've got a lot of awesome memories with this Escort, and i'm sure i'll never forget it. It's had its fair share of problems (that's probably why i made the decision to sell it), and i look forward to eventually owning another one like it. Currently i'm unsure as to what i'll get next, but where i'm going, i'll have plenty of time to think about it. I'm pretty sure i can get the military discount, but i'm not sure how much of a discount it is, or how many tickets i can purchase with it. I think i remember seeing that last time that i was there that it's like $28 per ticket with the military discount (not positive about that though). A group discount would probably be the cheapest method though...
