  1. this car will probably only put down 400 or less on spray so i should be ok for now with the blue running both. or ill upgrade the spring like rob suggested to me. when i do heads and some other goodies, ill run a blue on the n20 side and a black on the motor side.
  2. ok ill get a mock up and see what everyone thinks.
  3. o i want to come play the 25th ... how do i sign up??
  4. hopefully the weather holds out.. im excited to get my car to the track
  5. holley blue. ill probably upgrade to a black here soon.
  6. haha.. no no personalization.. that would sky rocket prices
  7. getting together all my fuel system stuff.. upgrading to braided line, bottle heater and other junk.. http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0227.jpg and got my dual fuel feed line on, and shit http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0224-1.jpg
  8. now this is pending anthony is interested in this or not. i have a hookup on a screen printing guy, and was tossing the idea around of getting some shirts made for the fall track day. basically.. columbusracing.com Fall track day 08' wiht some catch phrase like "grudge match" or soemthing on the front, and maybe some sponsors on the back. sponsors who are interested will pay a fee to get there logo, name whatever on the back. profits will go to CR. a few dollars to me, for doing some running around and setting things up, not much just enough to cover my time. we can setup a paypal account, have all orders in by X date and then i can bring them to the track day for all who purchased them. whats everyone think.. Anthony whats your take??
  9. not as effective i recommend using 2 buckets one with a grit guard and one without. one with your wash mix, and another with clean water, dip into soapy water, wash part of car, rinse into clean water, dip back into soapy water.. dont let the mitt or sponge hit bottom of clean water bucket thoguh, jsut dip in and rinse quick then onto the soapy water mix.. youll get a pretty clean mit that way. also if you can find a foam type spray nozzle, even one that allows soap in the handle and a trigger button to help foam away debris before using the mitt on it, that helps to i usually , foam, rinse, foam, rinse, wash with mitt, rinse, foam, rinse. this is after i have already completed my wheels, fender wells, and lower half that will get the most dirty. which i use a seperate bucket, wash mitt for.
  10. im pretty sure jegs carrys them, but if not its easy to just order one from autogeek.net
  11. ok jsut looking off the NOS site, for comparison... if using the cheater system Smaller noids than a BIG SHOT.. jetting for a 180hp shot is .073/.082 now for the BIG SHOT kit the same jet size will net you 175 hp so running bigger noids, still jetting the same as i would for the smaller noid will actually be a bit safer. horsepower drop, and NOS is always on the fat side in comparison to other MFGs basically im gonna have to jsut jet it till i get where i need to be.. but starting out with what NOS recommended is where ill start
  12. you got any steel braided 4an to 3an you wanna part with?? let me know what you have in braided line layign around you may want to part with , i got cash in hand to buy
  13. hell here is an article from car craft, the test 6 different plates, but us the same NOS Big Shot Noids.. all they use is the plate and jets from the different manufacturers. http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/ccrp_0511_nos_comparison/index.html
  14. come on ass hat... a blow through carb and turbo are next n this list.
  15. now im curious... anybody know the answer to this?? i tried looking it up online, and found no answer right or wrong
  16. why wouldnt my setup work?? if i have any solenoid.. no matter what it is... its going to be releasing nitrous and on the other side fuel through a 4an line. when it gets to the NOS plate, there will be NOS jets, so no matter what Solenoid i would be using the NOS Jetting. the nitrous isnt going to flow any faster from one noid to another, just quantity of nitrous/fuel, which is then restricted with JETS to desired amount i dont see how a solenoid that opens and closes allowing nitrous through, no matter what size orifice its going through, will matter. when it gets to the jet size and plate setup is what matters. thats where the jetting is. and there jetting chart is different from NX , you cant use a NOS jet in a NX plate obviously.. and there size chart is different an NX #51 isnt going to be the same size jet in diameter as a NOS #51. i mean NOS makes several solenoids, the powershot, obvisouly having a smaller orifice to travel through will only flow X amount of nitrous, step up to a bigger NOS solenoid you will get a bigger orifice in the noid, which will then allow you to flow more nitrous, hence why the powershot noids are only good up to a 150 shot. same will go with NX, ZEX, TNT, Edelbrock, nitrousworks.. or is there something im missing here??
  17. my setup will consist of, NOS bottle, NX Iceman solenoids, NX purge, Dynotune bottle heater, Holley FPR for the fuel solenoid, NOS cheater plate, ill be jetted for a 150 shot. with shitty street tires blowing the tires off, probably cutting 2.0 60ft times id hope for a mid 13 pass.. i know shitty, but i need DRs... if i can swing it ill pick those up before Oct. 3rd, but the way this kit is killing me on cost, and having to change over rubber fuel lines to braided i dont know if it will happen. hopefully this is complete by the end of the month lol. got some wiring ran, and got my cheater plate, and solenoid bracket on. ran some lines nitrous lines, and main line to the trunk. still have to wire up the jegs micro throttle switch, and MSD window switch, along wiht the solenoids. i have a ton to do, still waiting on stuff in the mail, like my bottle brackets, jets, i have a nice stainless braided dual feed line for the carb coming, bottle heater... and still have to go back to jegs for more shit like, another holley FPR, braided line for some fuel stuff, and to plum from the reg to the noid, then a line to the noid to the plate. new plugs, blah blah blah.. alot more work than i fugured, and alot more costly.. and the worst part is i gotta go get my bottle re certified gayness!! http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0219.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0222-2.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0223.jpg http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/hoblick/DSC_0224.jpg
  18. then i got the pre air.. cause i watched it last night.. it was good
  19. ok im starting to wire up the nitrous, and im kinda stumped.. on the wiring of my window switch. i am hooking everythgin up like normal, with a micro throttle switch, but im also going to be using the window swicth.. so foot down nitrous on only between the RPM range set by the window switch. foot off the gas kit not functional. where inline does the window swicth go??? on the wiring of the MSD window switch it reads as such YELLOW Normally Opened. This wire will provide a ground source at your desired On rpm, and remove the ground at the set Off rpm. so in theory i run the kit wired as normal with the micro throttle switch, but instead of just grounding the solenoids to the body.. i would ground them through the yellow wire on the MSD window switch... does this sound right??
