  1. You can also use the supplied usb cable to turn the camera into a card reader. plug it in with the camera turned on = card reader. Plug it in with the camera off = charge. Tutorial on setting the gopro to one touch mode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a3876GHNO0 I agree that the camera can be a little frustrating to begin with.
  2. We're definitely making the explosives weekend a bi-annual event, hopefully doing it in the snow next time. Pictures just for lulz, more flannel, more filth: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6208/6072603871_0451606ca6_z.jpg http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6202/6072593111_4e5933298d_z.jpg http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6204/6073129612_f2b8e3322b_z.jpg http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6204/6073129612_f2b8e3322b_z.jpg
  3. It sounds like he's already guessed away more than the cost of an accurate diagnosis at a reputable shop. Might be time to take it somewhere that knows what they're doing.
  4. Edited, let me know if they don't work for you.
  5. Here are the results from our weekend of stuffed animal love, we started with 1lb charges and worked up to a 15lb finale. The stuffed animals were pretty interesting, heads, tails and stuffing got tossed into the trees up to 100 feet away. Next time we're going to bring more gasoline. Full video: Finale only:
  6. You guys would make Jesus blush and you know that guy was into some freaky shit. 12 disciples and all.
  7. Yup, national parks are a no-go. No idea how it's viewed on private property.
  8. I'm willing to accept donations of the above items and anything else you'd like to see destroyed.
  9. Yessss! Noooooo!!!! And thank you, I'm sure we'll be doing future adventures in boom.
  10. I want to buy* your stuffed animals, saliva/food encrusted and generally horrible is fine. I need something interesting to pile atop binary exploding targets and stuffed animals will fit the bill. Last time we used snow with great success, there is no snow so stuffed animals are the next logical choice. Video from last time: *think very large numbers of stuffed animals for very small amounts of money.
  11. Going to watch this retarded pile of shit in 3D on Saturday, I will love it.
  12. I use a set of the oldschool goggles with full face contact and an elastic strap for close quarters grinding. They suck in hot weather but it beats the alternative.
  13. srys? I would buy a second one at that price, tell me about ziss deal.
  14. Spartan Tool on Alum Creek drive carries a lot of specialty tools. Worth giving them a call.
  15. I may be way out in left field here but I think you should check the p/v clearance.
  16. Everything, you need to know everything. Maintenance and condition are much more important than mileage. He could easily spend 3-5k catching the car up on deferred maintenance and worn parts. Unless it's an absolute steal (like a grand) it's worth paying for a pre-purchase inspection at a bmw specific shop. Tom Hatem in Grandview or Best Motor Werks near the Columbus airport. Short list of common wear items: - complete cooling system, belts/pulleys water pump/t-stat assy, radiator and expansion tank. - all control arms/tie rods/sway links front/rear - drive shaft rear cv - window regulators - rears are only available with the motor and cost around $250 each - oil separator system - about $90 if you buy your own parts - vanos seals - cheap but time consuming DIY
  17. +4, ambient sound. Oldie repost-astic but best use of ambient sound ever:
  18. The screen displays a black backround with a white apple logo in the center. When reset by holding the menu and center buttons it will go blank and return to the same apple logo screen. It does not sync with itunes.

  21. Shhhh, trying to sell these overpriced turds. I paid a little over 1/2 the price for a set of 8" knipex which work way better than these things. They'll probably have to go on ebay for some Kool-aid drinking Snap-On devotee to buy.
