the dealer wants you to think they have to service it
rtv on the pan, there is a serviceable filter, special tool(notched dipstick) and a chart to check it against the fluid level vs temp.

I'm buying a 17/19 Grand Caravan for Smokeout catering here soon. No worries.. change the fluid and don't sweat.. I did side work for a courier that never had 1 tranny go out in 600k over different vans. every 30k he had me changing fluid and filters.
ford says no more than 5k without weight distributing, so having a brand new truck I got the right setup for my concession trailer(towing 3/6 times a week @6500 lbs) with a weight distributing hitch my truck is rated at 10,300.
in the wind and next to semis it makes a large difference towing stability. I'm very happy with it
He is using Clear Cut Designs part of Vance Transportation Systems. They did my Smokeout trailer as well. They may do something like this if simple, but are trying to keep their business more commercially oriented and not wrapping whole cars.
Gotcha, as I assumed, people that aren't basing their biz around tire sales probably do pay more for disposal.
Tire Disounters tried that same thing with oil changes (as a convenience not your local oil change stop)They rarely got aggressive on oil change prices.
Just checked with my friends still working for ntb and td.
$2/tire. LIKE I SAID. NATIONAL CHAINS I WORKED FOR PROBABLY PAID LESS BECAUSE OF THEIR SIZE. Im seeing both sides of this and you just want to be a douche. Whatever mang.
Most of my time was spent with firestone, ntb, and tire discounters, and yes had nationally negotiated pricing Im sure. That said, i never disposed of tires for free, unless i knew Steves used tires were going to come along and pay me for them.
yeah i'm an outdated son of a bitch.. Tell me, do you see the P&L statements from the place you work? Are you in management? I'm just curious because I was in management from 2006ish/2018 and the costs barely increased $.25 during those times.
manufacturer defects are covered for the life of the tire. if you know who you got them from go back there. if not call cooper and tell them you have a issues with a tire separating at the tread.
i've had a 2018 2.7tt towing 5k pounds daily and now a 2020 3.5tt towing 7k lbs daily.. I couldn't see myself in any other truck than an F150 for doing what i do. 2.7tt saw 24mpg freeway(21.7 through mountains) 3.5tt 23mpg freeway(21.2 through mountains) both had the 10 speed autos
A good friend of mine won the spec miata series on iracing a couple years back and got him into the spec miata championship shootout. Freaking awesome experience for him.
