the offset not mattering. when I was big into contours(don't ask me why) a 40+ offset would rub if you had 18's as where a 35 wouldnt when using a 225-40-18

82k, v6, 5 spd, abs, traction control, beige leather, premium sound, keyless entry, ground effects, and 15" alloys. Some small scratches and dings nothing major. I picked this car up and was told it had a blown headgasket. I found #1 cylinder to have only 60lbs and all other cylinders at 130ish. I put in two things of bars leak and went through the whole process the car no longer smokes and has 140 pounds of pressure on the cylinder that was previously blown. It starts and runs great until it gets hot, when hot it sounds like the fuel pump doesn't prime and it take several cranks for it to start. I imagine it nees a new pump. other than that everything works its a dark plum metallic color with tan leather. nice car I've driven for 2 weeks now with no problems. decent michellins on it 9/32's on front an 6/32 on rear 1700 obo

i fit some 235-45-17 on a guys car that was lowered so I'd say you can prolly fit the 245-40-16 if you stay between 35-40 offset

matt they'll fit may just be short like beefcake said. they're a narrow 245 and should fit on a 6.5 wide rim. the 245-55 is a hard size to find
