You should stop in and take a listen to some gear. B&W has done well to fill the pricepoint gap left by NHT (we don't even carry them anymore). For some reason, people are so intimidated to come in and look around, thinking that we are akin to some kind of high end car dealership. I encourage people to bring some music, park themselves in our listening room, and hang out. Our mentality is that at best you may be a customer some day, at worst you will tell everyone you know about how ridiculous our fully automated mock apartment is and generate traffic for us. I get appreciating music at a decent dB, hell, I'm in the business of audio components that cost more than most people's cars. I have $24,000 speakers sitting behind me right now. But at what point does it become more about people down the block being able to hear your music vs. actually appreciating it?

I just don't get it. Maybe I'm getting old. It would seem annoying to only hear the bass track.

To You can't have it both ways. Either the big scary government is evil and raking in taxes on the back of the poor, or they are stupid and ignorant for spending so much with nothing to show for it. The first one starts off as a polite polemic then shifts to another tone entirely when it subtly suggests we supplant "under privileged" with "poor minorities" (one in particular).

My wife got it (not yet confirmed) from her work place and promptly passed it along to me. I have a fever that is (obviously) keeping me awake despite the codine. All in all, it isn't that terrible... For me. The wife was so much worse and also received the lepper treatment at the doctors office. I was put on tamaflu at the very first sign of symptoms. The doctor prescribed it over the phone. Since it likely significantly mitigated my presentation, I'd recommend those who are insured to try to get it phoned in too.

My top of the line Serta retailed for $3200 on sale for $2400, negotiated down to $1200 with delivery, box spring, and cover. Wholesale cost on the set was slightly higher than what I paid as I was working off the dealer price list.
