Im at stage 2 (of 2) of my house rennovation and need to demo the previous owner's basement drywall hack job, in addition to some other shit I ripped out of this house. Anyone know how to get a sub $200 dumpster?

This is what I was assuming. Since the court date is for both is on the same day, anyone think I could bargain them down to one violation?

I do believe I am going to fight it. The legal fees will run me close to the ticket cost though. I got pulled over for it on Friday night at 2:30 in the AM, I'm sure to see if I was intoxicated. Obviously I wasn't, but he wrote the lack of registration ticket anyway. Less than 7 hours later I got tagged for it again. $200 of equipment violation tickets in 7 hours. Bad luck.

I haven't called my lawyer yet... Nor have I looked it up myself. I was followed on Saturday morning by an officer for about a quarter mile. I pulled into my parking spot at the office in a private parking lot at which time the officer flipped on the lights and told me to stay in my car. I was ticketed for having expired tags (oops... I got my sticker later that day)... that's all the ticket was for. Is it legal to be cited for improper registration in a private parking lot?

You are missing the point. The options aren't limited to one extreme or the other. You can find a median point. Taking on a 10k loan on a depreciating "asset" when you are a full time college student is not a median point. PS: I drive a $30k car, and a decent house of my own... both of which are financed. I am not the miserly, frugal, hoarder you seem to think I am advocating.

He is not spending money, he is spending credit. If you aren't willing to trade impetuous indulgent depreciating happiness for a chance to avoid guaranteed pass into the inevitable downward financial spiral that most every American enters into with decisions just like this then you deserve to be living paycheck to paycheck hoping for some financial windfall to blow all your problems away. But really... I don't really care what you kids do.

P.S. The forthcoming market (real estate, stock, commodities, etc.) is where millionaires are made. People don't get wealthy trading/buying in a peak economy. Had you shorted just 1000 shares of Bear Stearns on Friday, you would have netted $28000 tomorrow morning. There are something like 30,000 properties in inventory in Columbus. 6 more months on the market, prices will fall even more. Scoop up a handful of properties, rent them out to a few of the thousands of people being foreclosed on, hold until a rebound, reap the profit.

My advice is to take advice from people more financially experienced than yourself. (over 23 perhaps)

Blame it on Clearchannel. There was a time when DJs had integrity and actually had a say in what was played. New music was found and introduced by the DJ not by corporate marketing executives. It's sad.

So draw the line for me between a "CD" or Certificate of Depost and an "SCC" or a secured credit card. I must be missing it in that article.

SEP IRA is fairly different from a roth or traditional... is Wikipedia not working for you today?

How exactly do certificates of deposit impact your credit score?

Jesus C. You are paying 7200 for a nineteen eighty fucking five Camaro. You are the last person in the universe... in the whole.entire.universe that should be giving advice on fiscal responsibility. The answer is a big Fuck No on whether you should go into debt over a car while in school. You have way too many variables in your future. A car payment is a great way to ensure that you will be moving back in with Moms and Pops if you dont get a job straight out of college. Whats worse, driving some young bitches around in a Honda Accord now... or taking them back to your room in the basement of your parents house later? I bought my first real car while I was still in college. I paid $8500 in actual dollar bills. I saved my ass off for 2 years and made it happen. This is the only way you should buy something that expensive.

I save a hell of a lot more than 15k... but in a variety of investment packages. -What-

I'm right off Westerville road... I see you all the time...

To the employer match point. After that, I dont have a clue what's best. My financial planner takes over after that. I know my employer had a traditional IRA last year but stopped it this year, so I've switched to a Roth.

But seriously, if any of your fuckers have a 401k and aren't maxing it out... you deserve to be poor when you're 65.
-
I went through one last year... sober. Most people get waved through. I had to pull over and get checked. I'm assuming I was profiled based on my car. So it goes.

I wish I were half as organized as you.

I just bought this beast: http://images.lightinguniverse.com/img/l/138/1343309_sku.jpg [Hunter Valhalla] It is quite sick. You would be hard-pressed to fund that or any other very unique fan in retail. I ordered it out of the Hunter catalog.

The problem with this country is not Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, or John McCain. The problem with this country is that there are so many ignorant, under educated, half witts (like yourself) who journey through life with unwarranted esteem in their own intelligence. These people (like yourself) are so easily manipulated and stirred into a fine frenzy by fallacious propaganda and undocumented contrived polemic. Those people (like yourself) create these underground grass roots movements that convince a network of other people that these fallacies are fact and have half the country now making decisions based on the manipulative agenda of someone in tune with how fucking stupid people (like yourself) really are. If you truly don't care, the least you could do is fact check the stupid shit that you choose to project to those people (like yourself) who just might believe you. PS... Citing World Net Daily and Israel National News as factual sources. Are you fucking serious. If somehow you succeeded to take my suggestion and go back to school to learn how to use rational reasoning skills, you might take note that our National Enquirer is not an acceptable source for credible information.

The density is as strong in this thread as any other nutrition thread on CR. Ephedrine is not illegal... Nor is it excessively harmful in the ways that you pseudo-scientists seem to believe. Ephedrine is a controlled substance because it is a main component in the manufacture of Methamphetamines using a relatively simple Birch Reduction. Show me a single report that links ephedrine to causing anything more than dehydration and similar mild stimulant side effects and I will renounce all of my nutrition knowledge. The simple fact of the matter is that it never crosses the brain blood border in the way that its similar chemical structure Dextromethamphetamine does freely thereby not excessively increasing serum dopamine levels as the FDA might try to scare you into thinking. You can buy it at CVS as Primatene or Bronkaid. The 12.5 or 25mg Ephedrine HCL is paired with 200mg of Guaifenesin, an Expectorant used in the treatment of Asthma. Please do some fucking research and stop touting what you heard from some dude one time as fact. If you want to lose weight read/do this: http://www.cutdiet.com Don't stray from it a single instance, measure your food and do even a fraction of the exercise it suggests and you will see result unlike anything you anticipated. I switched to this 10 weeks ago and further shed 15lbs. I am at my 8th grade wrestling weight and am basically shredded.
