  1. I believe that the questions that you listed above are done in the American Community Survey. This survey is sent to a random sample of the population annually. http://www.census.gov/acs/www/
  2. Mike, I'll take the Longaberger Winter doormat. $5 I sent you a PM.
  3. I used American Eagle Mortgage Co. using an FHA. I don't think the fees were too bad. The person I dealt with was Stuart Spalt - 614-433-9662

    Anyone a Moose?

If anyone else is interested in checking out the Gahanna Moose, I recommend coming on Saturday March 20, 2010. Dinner is from 5PM to 8PM and will be a ribeye steak, salad, baked potato, roll, and dessert. There will also be a live band later in the evening. Also, I'll be up there tonight if anyone is interested.
  7. Verizon did this with the Bing app. they pushed a shortcut to the blackberry's. You could delete it, but because it was a "service book" it came back when you rebooted. I haven't seen that app pushed to my blackberry...yet.
  8. I've split a couple of the harbor freight deep impact sockets when using a 24" breaker bar. One socket split on 3 sides and is laying in a field next to Cecil County Dragway in NJ.
  9. For lighting, you might check out http://strobist.blogspot.com/ I've been reading through that site and picked up a stand, swivel, super clamp, and umbrella at Midwest photo over the weekend for $99. (I already have an SB-800 flash)
  10. I had that camera and the macro mode was superb.
  11. I shoot with Nikon, but might be interested in your event.
  12. No kidding on the weight. I need a new monopod. my current one cannot support the weight of my camera and lens.
  13. Midwest photo now does equipment rentals. you can rent bodies, lenses, lights, etc. http://www.mpex.com/page.htm?PG=rental Try before you buy.
  14. I wonder if he may benefit from a mono-pod to help stabilize the camera some with the conditions. I agree that the 350-500 price range is not going to get the results that he is expecting.
  15. what issues are you having with the SD780? If you are shooting action shots (sports, cheer competitions) you may need a lens with an f4 or faster aperture. (i.e. more expensive lens).

    Anyone a Moose?

Our lodge has many members under 40 who come in. I for one, would love to get an even younger crowd in (closer to my age, or younger).

Any Moose member (guys) can sponsor you (including me). Nearly everyone is willing so sponsor another member. I'll PM you the yearly dues.

    Anyone a Moose?

I'm up there fairly frequently (most weekends) and can sign you in as a guest so you can check it out. The good thing is that if you join any lodge, your membership card can get you into any other lodge in the country. Here is a link to our lodge's website http://gahannamoose.org/

    Anyone a Moose?

Lance, I'm an active Moose member at the Gahanna Moose on Johnstown Road. A lodge is basically just a bar. A family center is more family oriented meaning that children are allow to be there. I'm not exactly sure what the chapter is. I'll be at the Gahanna Lodge tomorrow night (Friday 2/26) if anyone wants to come up and check it out. Or if you have questions, you can call me at 614-949-9554. -Rich
  20. I believe that you need to contact Transunion (in your case) to get them removed.
  21. With Nikon, just make sure to plan ahead when buying lenses. For example, with a D300 (DX sensor) you can buy Nikon DX lenses (cheaper). However, these lenses will be pretty limited on the newer D700 body though (FX sensor)
  22. Midwest photo has some instant rebates and is local. http://www.mpex.com/page.htm?PG=rebates I've also bought from these companies and recently used bing cash back to get 5% off my last order. http://www.cameta.com/ http://www.adorama.com/
  23. Nikon and Canon are both great. They have models of entry level DSLR in that price range. For Nikon, you could go with a D40 or D60 For Canon, you can go with the Rebel line. XS, XSi
