  1. never mind...i kept looking and found it. 43mi, then 102 miles. lol. i guess if i can get them to do it, im going with 43
  2. hm. i may be down for a 40-60 mile ride. where does the rides and how much needs to be pledged? maybe ill check with work and see if they'll sponsor it. that gives me a month to keep riding and work up some more wind/muscle. hahah
  3. and fuck verizon. told me it would be shipped overnight, woman gave me the tracking number today, said it was shipped today and would be here tomorrow, and when i just put in the tracking number, it says its in PA and it was shipped 2 day service, and wont be here until 7/22. FUCK
  4. went to the doctor after it was still hurting a week after i hurt myself...he said it seemed like strained muscle(s) on the outside front of my shin, took some xrays, said nothing broken. basically said to keep icing it and ibuprofen and to stay off it as much as possible. a week and a half later im about 98%. i really have to try to move my foot/leg in a way to make the muscle hurt.
  5. i dont know who my dad was through, but his house he rented got broken into, and they stole a bunch of shit, among it was his laptop. it was an older computer, he said it wasnt worth but maybe $50-100 at that point. he said the insurance company told him either he could get a check for the value of what was stolen or go buy new and they would reimburse him he went out the next day and spent (i want to say) like $1600 on a brand new macbook air, and they cut him a check for it.
  6. is there different distances of the ride? i almost considered doing it, but i think i'd have a hard time raising $1000. ive done some 60 mile rides, and i could probably go further depending on inclines/etc. i just started last year.
  7. yes, because you had the only red GP GTP. ever.
  8. so following a thread on android forums, i saw a couple people ordered 6/30 and got their phones today. called verizons *611 number, and it said i had a pending activation...sweeeeet. get a CS rep, she said it shipped today, and with overnight, it'll be here tomorrow. im just hoping its here before i go to work, so i can take it to work to charge it, put the screen protector on, then start using it near the end of my shift when it slows down. im stoked.
  9. the one right by the kroger at schrock/state? might have to stop by on my way home from work, see how much the seasons of dexter are going for
  10. thats what she said. :bangbang:
  11. um, im guessing yes since technically you did damage the property, but i'd kinda wonder why the F there was a gas line "sticking up a little" where a mower could hit it
  12. easy peasy stuff man. shoot me a PM. im getting ready to hit the sack. ill get back to you tomorrow evening after work
  13. OSU. we've been going there as needed for our cats. just took one in friday actually. i dont know rates for other vets for similar services, but for office visit, get his eyes checked (hes been shitting/pissing right outside his litter box) and bloodwork, it was $170 and they called that night as well as saturday morning to follow up and see how he was doing. i thought that was cool. never had a vet do that before
  14. fer real. did you go thru a CCCS program yet before jumping straight to bankruptcy?
  15. yeah...i dont mind driving a little bit to get to a new spot. the same thing over and over can get boring. ive done the johnstown to hanover path 3-4x now, 60 miles total...would just like to find a new route that i dont have to ride on super busy roads
  16. thats cool. ive actually been looking through some of these since my incredible will be here in about a week and a half. i was at my dads yesterday and he just got the droid x, and i downloaded mapmyride on his phone. would have been nice to have my phone w/ a program on it yesterday. 33.02 miles according to my bike odometer. i was riding with a new guy from my work, and our average was like 12mph, but i could probably do 15-16 without him. to the OP - are those fairly busy roads you were riding on? im not familiar with the area. im always looking for a new route in the 30-50 mile range

    Accurint

i have it at work, but i dont have personal access to it. i have to email a sup. sorry man. if i was still at my old job, i'd help you out again
  18. i remember hearing that more people go to the hospital for cocker spaniel bites in a year than pit bulls. obviously, something like a pitbull bite would be more severe, but for sheer, numbers, cocker spaniel > pitbull but heres soemthing i posted a couple years ago. im too lazy to type it out again this dog literally chomped down on her arm. he was laying on her lap on the couch, she moved to get up, and he snapped. she stood straight up and the dog was hanging from her arm, all 4 paws in the air. to this day she still has pain in her arm, and a couple nasty scars as reminders
  19. kevin, when did you turn 75?
  20. my dad went to the store at easton this morning and got the first one they had sold that day. he said they had 10 in when he got there. i quickly sent him the link about the phone bricking if you try to mod it.
  21. i will tell you whats fun though, is the little area with the signs and the water fountain, right behind that theres usually a "path" (obviously not official, not supposed to be there) from people walking up the side of the mountain. its through the woods and brush, and much more fun than taking the path. have to climb over a couple boulders once you get ~20 feet from the top of it, but its easy.
