wow. i saw the forecast said it was supposed to rain...i went on a bike ride with a buddy from work, we went to the north end of hoover (which, if you're not aware, the bridge is completely out, so dont ride your bicycle there because you'll have to turn around) and on the way back we were on dempsey...it got a little windy, and i thought the clouds were graying, but it just ended up being my sunglasses and my thoughts of the forecast playing tricks on my mind. once i took my glasses off it was bright

just to update. now that ive had it for a day or so, been learning a few basic things, im very happy with it. gotten a few things customized, set up 6 of the 7 home pages, got some apps that seem like something i'd use...will be trying out mapmyride or edomondo tomorrow for a bike ride.

Posting from my phone now. Pretty cool. Took a while because my backup assistant hadn't been updating so we had to reactivate my old phone, load contacts then reactivate this one. Good thing my old phone never took a shit or I'd be fucked...I thought the backup assistant was set up and running every night. And the spell correcting on here is nice for someone who's never used a virtual keyboard...I can understand why Pauls posts can look like shot though...lol. a lot to figure out with this thing. I predict very little work to get done tomorrow.

yeah, i take that trail up to my work when i ride...the park in the back of my neighborhood connects to the trail. i live in the neighborhood just to the left of the trail on the north side of morse, behind evans automotive, and i get off at schrock rd and my work is <1/4 mile east of the trail... edit - instead of fighting traffic to go back behind dicks and start there, just go down morse, thru sunbury rd, and where the creek is, you can pick up the trail there. that trail isnt bad though, just fairly flat. if you want to do a ~60 mile some day, we can hit the trail starting near the johnstown highschool and take it all the way out to hanover, oh. thats a bit of a ride. it doesnt seem to bad on the way out to hanover, but on the way back, with the headwinds, even if its a slight wind, you feel it. if you want to go out saturday, shoot me a PM.

i hear you man. if you want to get out and do some 30-60 mile rides, let me know. i try to keep saturday open for riding, and IIRC, you're in gahanna, (i think i saw you pulling into the apartments by kohls last week) right? last week we rode from my place at morse/sunbury, through easton, back roads into gahanna, up through neighborhoods along 62, up around the country club, and over to the giant eagle on the other side of 161 and back. i dont try to ride super fast, but the guy i rode with saturday was slow as fuck. i'd like to get a decent ride in soon where i can keep a good pace

i dont know if it would have been less if i wasnt told overnight. it was $149.99 for new every 2 upgrade, and $50 less for private sale credit, and i paid $99.99 + tax. i called tonight and the guy basically said sorry, nothing i can do, you'll get your phone tomorrow let him know i was thouroghly pissed and i would be relaying this situation. he tried the "oh i hope you wouldnt do that over one mishap" bs. i told him had i not been lied to, maybe not, but being lied to and then just kinda given the "oh well, we're sorry" attitude is shitty.

its not the extra day that pisses me off, as i wasnt expecting it until next week, its that i was told it would be sent overnight when i ordered it, and even more, that i was told LAST NIGHT that they shipped it overnight, and it would be here today, which was obviously a blatant lie.
