plastic? glass/metal? chairs with cushions?

lol, i understand you cant get yuengling here in town (well, some people claim you can), but holy fucking mark-up batman! i pick it up for people when i go to PA and only ask for an extra buck or so, total $22.
-
and your math sucks. you only worked 96 hours. suck it up.
-
i know i couldnt do it. theres a guy i work with, about my age, no kids/wife/anything. few months back, guy busted out 93 hour weeks for the whole month. in the end though, he banked who knows how much off overtime alone, won a 37" flatscreen tv, sony blu-ray player, and surrround sound system (all 3 as a package) for a contest we were having, and had a $15,000 bonus check. fucking nuts. id have to guess that with the prizes, his hourly + overtime, and the bonus, he probably cleared $21k for one month.

House behind me went back to the bank, who is responsible for upkeep?
evan9381 replied to Total Sign's topic in Dumpster
im not sure anyone is. i know there didnt seem to be any upkeep to the outside of my house that hadnt been lived in in probably a year or so. -
wasnt bad. range seemed like any other range...it was nice to have skeet fields and a range at one place...i havent been to any other place that has both (although im sure theyre out there). i went through about 325 rds of 9mm, a dozen or so .22 (damn hollow point 22's were getting stuck on the feed ramp of the rented gun, so we went with a revolver, which was even more of a bore/pain in the ass loading/unloading), and 75 12ga rounds...various rounds ive had sitting around the house. some big shot loads...probably why my shoulder is hurting tonight. mainly BB, #2, #4, and #7.5 thought id be up there for a couple hours max, and i was there from ~12:30 to about 5pm.

yeah, investing would be another option, but it can be a little bit of a gamble i just put about $1k into some stocks, just to see what i could do...holding about 6 different companies...but 2 of them are in banks (5/3 and BOA), which i expect to do well soon, and i plan on holding onto them for a few years. wish i would have had money when everything crashed at the start of the year, but i instead used my money to buy a house and take advantage of super low rates (5.000%).

congrats. im already excited enough to get my first nephew coming here in a few months.
-
wish i knew that...range time + 12 targets was like 18 bucks, 3 rounds of skeet was $27 each. holy shit. my shoulder is red/bruised as shit, as im sure matts is too. it was a good time though. i havent been out shooting for fun since like july 2008. fuck.
-
damn. if that fails, ill take it. that even matches my coffee table/end tables downstairs in my living room.

if the economy wasnt crap, i could probably think of a few things. i would say put it into an emergency fund, unless you feel like you have enough set aside already incase the shit hits the fan. my whole life ive never been able to save money but everything thats been going on has kicked my ass into gear to set aside about 6-7k, which would cover about 4 months of bills. id like to have more though. never know what will happen, and i dont want to have to rely on credit cards to pay living expenses.

I (along with every person at b-dubs) thought the call on that Rua/Machida fight was BS.

thats fine, im just saying it seemed high. its just going to be me and my buddy...if anyone wants to shoot 12ga, ive got a bunch of ammo...i might shoot 1-2 rounds of skeet/trap, and you can shoot up whatever i have left...theres a bunch of duck/goose 3" loads, but they'll still hit the clays... be there at noon....

NASR = 21.95/person + 8.95 for additional person, and i think you can only have a max of 3 people per lane
-
dude...if youre willing to drive to BWSC, its about the same as OVO...checked the site...9.99/person with ammo purchase, 12.99 without...i usually just buy a 1.29 box of .22's to get the discount. and those lanes are pistol, shotgun, or rifle. http://www.ovoutdoors.com/indoor_range.htm its about 3 miles past the 33 business/bypass split across from the meijer. there arent skeet fields though, nor are there any at NASR/AIMHI. ive got over 100 rounds of 12ga i want to waste thru, even if its in an indoor range, and about 350+ of .22's if anyone wants to bring one and shoot up my ammo. i just need to get rid of it all so i can justify buying new ammo
-

yeah, i went to easton wally world and took the last 3 100 packs. they had a shit ton of 40 (probably 15 boxes, but they limit you to 6, so take someone else if you want to shoot more than 300rds), no 45s. itll be me and a buddy of mine said he'd be up. anyone find out about group pricing, or pricing in general?
-
yeah...ill be in for tomorrow. ill bring my M&P 9c and my keltec PF9. if you want to shoot either, just bring your own ammo, i dont mind ill probably bring my rusted to shit remmy 870 for some skeet shooting, too. sounds like fun...
-

who the hell schedules a range meet during a buckeye game? if this was for later today, i'd be game.

if you want a heavy trigger, get a S&W sigma. that way, you can get a junk gun, heavy trigger, and only spend $300. lol

the M&P is super easy to break down, its very comfortable in the hand, and not to mention, there's a local gunsmith who does a lot of customizing on these on huntley rd right next to the budweiser factory. i loved mine from the first time i shot it, and i had him go over it, worked the trigger down to about 4.5#, a clearer trigger reset, crowned the barrel 11 degrees (to shoot more accurate), polished the feed ramp, not to mention a whole other list of things he does. ronnie @ http://www.boom-boomtactical.com and if you MUST have a 45, vances has them now in a 4" or 4.5" barrel for $549, and they also have the 9 and 40 for $499. keep in mind the cost of ammo when you're buying a gun. if you intend to do a lot of plinking around on the weekends, 45ACP can get expensive QUICK. not to mention, with the right bullet selection, a 9mm round can do A LOT of damage, and you'll have the capacity for more rounds in the magazine. the 45 holds 10+1, and the 9 holds either 16 or 17 +1, and i think the 40 is 12+1. i havent been keeping up on the M&P forums lately...i know my 9 compact is 12+1.
