kevin called it! but this \/ ...i said the exact same thing at work...i said "it'd be fucked up if that kid got kidnapped and they let that thing go to throw the off the trail for a bit" what im thinking though, is that, if you saw the mythbusters about that 40lb girl being lifted by balloons, it took them A LOT of balloons to lift her up. that kid probably weighs what...50lbs? i realize that thing could hold a decent amount of helium, but it didnt look big enough for a kid to crawl inside and not weight it down enough not to take off...not to mention, it only got to like 8500ft right? wouldnt it have gone a lot higher if there was a shit-ton of helium in there...enough to lift ~50lbs?

ive already got a 55g when i say big tank, im talking like 125+ gallon. maybe more. one that once i put it down here, its not going to move for YEARS (sorry for the messy room...was when we were still moving into the new place) http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/IMG_2561.jpg?t=1255660161 plus...the $$ isnt in the tank itself, its in all the filters, heater, and all the other supplies you need. theres a 125g tank + stand on CL ive been watching now down to $200. but id have to drop at least another $300 to get everything for it

yeah...once i get new carpet down here (its a 1/2 basement...3 level split)...when you come downstairs, 1/2 bath on the right, laundry on the left...once youre in the living room area, theres about 6' to the right of the opening to the wall, and to the left its about 8'. right now i have my TV against the right wall and couch on the left wall, for like a 20' viewing distance. i want to turn my couch and put it against the "back" wall and the tv against the wall where you walk in, and make it like a 12' viewing area...then i can put a fish tank where my TV is now.

i would almost be willing to pay that much just to get the black carpet in my g/fs mazda3 back to black, and not black with speckled white dirt/dust mixed in. black interiors clean FTW. black interiors dirty FTL.

i think in 3 years of having CC's, ive paid a max of $40 in finance charges. ive got/had 3 0% cards. the one i have thats not 0% i pay off monthly. i just got a $100 rewards check from them so i'd say im ahead on CCs.

yep. looks like my 55g too. i keep getting the urge to go to a 90 or 125g tank, then i get that cheap bone in my body saying "SAVE YOUR MONEY! THE 55 IS FINE!"

lol...makes me feel old and 5 years ago, i just graduated high school. i bought a new car when i was 18 or early 19, started doing small mods whenever i got extra money. lived check to check with my parents, then there was this thing called a "reality check" when parents said "hey, we're getting divorced"...i decided to move out, rent + utilities + car payment friggin sucked...was a point for a couple weeks i was literally eating ramen noodles daily because i couldnt buy groceries. who knows...maybe in 3-4 years this kid will stumble across this thread and think "damn, i wish i listened to most of those guys".

like i said...what he charged me was less than any prices quoted in here. not to mention derek always hooks everything up. plugged a tire on my g/fs car so we could get to the dealership for warranty road hazard, and a nail on my sisters car for nothing. my dads friend has a shop, wanted over $900 (325 parts + labor) to change a fuel pump on my sisters sunfire (have to drop the exhaust and tank), called derek and said he could do it at his place for 425 for everything. i cant even count on both hands how many times derek has hooked me up, or someone ive sent to him just a few weeks ago, he got a guy i work with some goodyear eagle's for like $350 for the set...the tires are $160/each on tirerack

once again (4th time). last time though, im not sure it went thru. usually theres an email saying thanks for your interest, etc. last time there wasnt one, and this time, put one in for both spots, and only got 1 email.
