  1. you'd have to wait until next month when they update on the 1st, and know his name or the address. if someone is that concerned, theres an issue. lol but at 1k/mo payment, assuming he got a decent rate for right now (5.5%ish), and maybe 10k down, he probably got it for 140ish. my bank told me for a 125k house and nothing down, would be like 940 IIRC. that was when rates were at 5% at the end of january.
  2. i read what he said. the place my sister works is supposed to be a great place to get coloring done ( http://www.thecachetsalon.com/ ). im just saying, if he wants me to see if she'll do it on the side and save a few bucks for the same thing she'll get at the salon, i can check. if not, oh well.
  3. my sister just graduated from the charles penzone school and is working at some salon in worthington...i cant remember what its called though...starts with a C. lol. she doesnt have her chair yet, but supposed to get it soon. im sure if your wife wants, i can talk to her and see if she can do it at her place...probably save her a bit of $ too, so if its not exactly what she likes, shes not out as much as it would be to go to a salon
  4. just point the tower away from you and hit it with an impact wrench...itll probably dent your ceiling, but it will be a fun process. lol
  5. i saw this on MSN a week or 2 ago, and was going to post here because i remembered seeing the attorneys name on here before.
  6. pool is fine with me...g/f and i were going at it semi-incognito in her parents pool, and i look over her shoulder and her parents were both standing at the sliding glass door. not really looking at us, but im sure they did look our way. when i told her not to whip her head around real quick and be obvious about it, whats she do? dumbass.
  7. well, the assessor had it appraised at 117,300 in 2007, and when i bought it, HUD's apraisal said 75k, and my banks said 80k. im not too worried about it right now, i just need to be able to put a bed and 2 dressers in a room and still have space to walk around.
  8. RIP how old was he when he got the record for oldest cop?
  9. true dave, your dad knows what hes doing. i know the 2br aspect would be harder to sell, and lower the value, but for the time, the lower value should lower my taxes. plus, i dont plan on leaving here for years, i just bought it in march...i think i have to stay here 3 years and if i leave, i have to pay back the first time home buyer credit. but as chad stated, i may end up putting the wall back up if/when i decide to sell the house down the road, or even do a bedroom in the lower level "basement" (3 level split). the one room is probably no bigger than 9x12, then the room on the other side of the wall i want to knock down is like 14x14, and the 3rd is like 13x13ish. chad- hopefully im going to get started on this in the next couple weeks now that my $ has come in. ill have to get with you to find a time good for you to get some ceiling fans/lights wired up, and some overhead lighting and fans on the main floor.
  10. if you could, that'd be great. also, i checked into the permit for the deck, and its $200. $75 for the initial one, then once its done i have to pay like $125 for the inspection or something. fuck
  11. a less crowded beach would have been nice, but we walked across the strip to the beach, and had 3 nights (with g/fs dads voucher for 1 free night) for like $400 total. i would have liked to not even have to cross the street to get to the beach, but that would have been $$ g/fs parents are going down in a couple months and said theyre going to talk to a realtor and thinking of moving to conway...her dad wants to go to a school there to be a golf instructor. if so, ill probably go down once a month or so, and stay with them for free!
  12. so amazingly, in 24 years, ive never been to myrtle beach. been to the outerbanks, topsail beach (south of camp lejune), all thru florida, etc. so we decided to get out of town for a few days and hit the beach crowded, but i expected that with holiday weekend. a lot of extremely good looking women (as you can see in some of the pics...i dont know how they got in there ), beach was clean, contrary to what people told me. good fishing from the surf later in day once people started going in. even saw a couple d-list "celebrities"...i dont know if they even deserve that title...2 guys from the show "tool academy" walking down the beach...one in something i dont think a male stripper would even wear. at least they had a couple girls with them, i guess thursday night, trying to find some place http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC03124.jpg?t=1246938440 the beach. the view i got to see all day friday and saturday http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC03131.jpg?t=1246938440 me on the beach. dont know how she got in that pic. i dont think the g/f even noticed. LOL http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC03168.jpg?t=1246938440 banana boat. girl in blue is the same one from previous pic. lol. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC03189.jpg?t=1246938440 a "sailboat" http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC03198.jpg?t=1246938440 the 2 tools...g/f said its "shawn" and "matsuflex". i dont know wtf he was thinking wearing that to a beach. at least theres chicks in the pic to make up for it. im assuming it actually was them since the 17 year old girls in front of us freaked out once they realized who it was. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC03210.jpg?t=1246938440 fishing - caught one of these first night, and somewhere between 8-10 the second night...then about a dozen little sunfish looking things. about 5" long. nothing worth posting pics over. was fun time though http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC03175.jpg?t=1246938440 http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC03223.jpg?t=1246938440 random sign on the way home http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/evan938/DSC03265.jpg?t=1246938440
  13. im pretty sure its not load bearing, as the wall runs the same direction as th trusses. above it is attic space, below it is the 1/2 basement (its a 3 level split). highly doubtful any plumbing running thru it. a couple electrical boxes, yes, but its a closet wall, one room the closet is closer to the south side of the house, the other its on the north side.
  14. do i need to get any sort of permit from the city or elsewhere to knock out a wall between 2 bedrooms? ive got 3, but theyre all small, and i want to turn 2 of them into a master bedroom, but the wall has to come out. TIA
  15. i got my case at vances, and it was like $30. it even comes with a cable you can attatch it to something (like a car seat rail or something solid). its either steel or aluminum...weighs about 3-4lbs. has a key lock on it. go up, tell them you have firearm, unloaded, sign small piece of paper (3x4 max) reiterating this, put back in suitcase, signed paper on top of it, take to TSA. fly. get from baggage claim, continue with vacation like i said, i was honestly suprised how easy it was to check in my handgun while flying. i had absolutely 0 delay/hassle at CMH and JAX. i wouldnt bat an eye to do it again
  16. myrtle beach fireworks > * started at 830 with random people on the beach, then the city did theirs at about 930 i think, lasted about 1/2 hour, and right now (11:12pm), there are still people out on the beach firing them off. i shark fished for the whole time they were going off...caught 9 little ones. win.
  17. just another reason then to keep it in the original box. i know ammo isnt overly expensive, but i still wouldnt want to lose 26rds
  18. dont put your ammo in a mag...keep it in the original box, if you have it, or a plastic ammo box made for that when i went to florida last year, i took my keltec PF9 and 20 rds of ammo, put them in a locking metal box, went to counter she had me sign a piece of paper saying it was unloaded, put it back in my suitcase, zip it shut with the tag i signed on top of it, and gave it to the TSA guy and that was it. just as easy coming back in fact, we probably went thru all that quicker than when we went to NC 2 years ago with no guns! lol
  19. wow. i had enough fun doing 10 hours in a CAR yesterday coming to SC, 604 miles. fuck 2200 miles on a bike. lol
  20. those are the winter rollers. he hasnt put on his summer wheels yet
  21. when i needed to rent a car last year (was 23), i went to find rates and did priceline. they said "check this box if under 25", then it says theyre going to charge you $xx fee per day extra because of your age, so when you submit your offer, factor that in. i think rates were like $23/day + $25/day for fee, and i put in an offer of like $35/day...in hindsight, i should have started lower, and went up until they accepted. thats odd they have nothing available. we didnt have a great car (HHR) but we only needed something to get the 2 of us around and haul our suitcases.
  22. i have been to bars many times and not drink. and its not even just "bars", in ohio, you cant carry anywhere alcohol is served. i/e - chipotle. i cant carry there, bw3's, thurmans, this little sushi spot i like to go to, among many other places.
  23. partial sour cream and onion doesnt cut it
  24. dont know about it, but search for it on travelocity and check out the guest reviews. would be your best bet, as it comes from people who have stayed there. im glad i did that for our hotel we were looking for for this weekend. almost booked one and im glad i didnt...horrible reviews
