congrats. i started trying to lose some weight around mid march. started eating lighter (packing a tuna sandwich and fruit instead of eating out daily), started drinking 3-4 bottles of water a day, and going to the gym 3-4 times a week. started around 215, right now im at about 201. i noticed a lot of it dropping off my waist, because the pants i bought 2 months ago are probably 2 sizes too big (could easily pull of a 34 waist now, maybe even a 32)...ive even had to switch to the last hole on my favorite belt goal is to get to 185 by my birthday (june 18th)...i think if i keep at it i can get close. first 10lbs came off quick, now im working my ass off for nothing...probably gaining muscle i never had

figures the day after i post a thread they cash my check. lol

yeah, but on the flip side, i filed my taxes like 2 days from the deadline, and got my refund check within like 7 days of that. maybe it wont take so long. sucks caus the only reason i started looking for it and asked her aboutit was to go deposit it in time for my vacation saturday. fuck. guess ill be running up the CC and paying it off when i get home

so my significant other told me she thinks she may have thrown away my tax refund check on accident. i had it folded up and in a stack of some other receipts and other junk, which are now no where to be found. the trash was taken out monday, so no chance of finding it there. anyone had this happen? how long did it take to have them put a stop payment on the check and re-issue a new one?

well, i guess ill be the first to apologize. was going through some envelopes in my car and found an unmarked white envelope. low and behold, it was the card. i guess i can say 5/3 isnt as terrible as i made them out to be ...i am still a little angry they would send it out in an unmarked envelope though.

well the branch i opened the checking acct with is out by my old job (taylor rd in reynoldsburg by best buy and gander mountain)...the bank i mainly deal with is gahanna, and lately, the one in the kroger at eastpoint either way, im still pissed, and im gonna be closing out accounts when i get home from vacation

i hate this too. i do collections, and theres 200-300 people in my office, and quite regularly (so i cant imagine how often this happens and i dont get the call) someone calls and says "are you hiring?" how about you get off your ass and come up and find out

due to my work f'ing up last year, i had to pay columbus taxes out of pocket...mailed my tax form in by the deadline, with a check for 200$, but it still hasnt been cashed. anyone else experiencing this?

i was actually thinking of chase due to them being based in columbus, but i rarely see any branches around the east side...ill look into that.

my girlfriends dad gave me a few stocks to see if i could find out anything about them (value mainly)...im having a hard time finding anything...probably because theyre so old...these are from the 20s. im not expecting them to be worth anything/much, but, you never know. the stocks are from the following companies - The Cree-Becker Oil Tool Company - 15 shares at 100$ each The Ohio Securities Company = 10 shares at 100$ each The Alexandria Farmers Co-operative Company - 2 shares at 50$ each anyone know where i cand find some info on these and possibly see if theyre worth anything today?

fifth third has finally fucked me over for the last time this month (april), my mastercard for my checking account expires. around the beginning of the month (10th or so), i get a letter w/ the pin # and it says i will get my card within 10 days. around the 20th, nothing has come, so i call up, guy says it was sent out on the 15th. fast forward to friday (27th), i call up, this guy says it was sent on the 10th. i explain to him again i havent gotten anything, and i need the card immediately, due to me going on vacation on the 5th. guy says only thing i can do is to pay 15$ to have the card "overnighted" which will take 3 days to pull and 2 days in the mail...? they said the only other option is to contact a branch and see if they can help me out so i call the branch ive been dealing with. this guy tells me the same thing, except it will cost 50$ to get the card overnighted, and even then, 5 days, and no garuntee i will get it by the time i leave on the 5th. they tell me the only other option is to get an ATM card (which there are no 5/3s in NC so its gonna cost me like 4$ each time i use it), or use my credit card and transfer funds every few days to me, this is a bullshit "option" on their part. i think is even more bullshit that ive had accounts open with them for close to 15 years, and this is how i get treated right now, i need a bank with free checking, that will allow me to open up a CC with the same options ive got on my current card, and that i can transfer my balance with no fees. i just paid off my car loan through them, so no worry about that. would like to go with a larger bank, so i have options if i go out of state.

havent paid much attention the last few years...they started to suck big time after mike hargrove left. ive been a fan all my life though...i get it from my dads side who is from up there...my grandma has some crazy memoribillia...bob feller autographed baseball, team signed ball from when albert bell, kenny lofton, carlos baerga, jim thome, etc were on the team. i was at the old stadium the year they tore it down.

aww. i feel bad for that kid. if he was about 10, i probably would have laughed a bit, but for a 4 year old, i bet he wasnt feeling too good afterwards. poor kid

if it was up to me, and i had money like that to spend, i would have a huge 100 gallon tank and some sweet salt water fish unfortunately, fish arent my thing, and i dont have cash like that

my girlfriend decided that if these fish die, shes not gonna buy anymore...cant really blame her...probably spent 70$ on fish in the last few weeks just had the other red eyed tetra die today, down to like 4 or so fish
