been running skyraider 3.5 for almost 2 years. Its been fine for what i do, even still being on 2.2 on a 2.5 year old phone. Saw this new "smartglass" for xbox, but cant get it since it requires 4.0+, so i guess its time to mess with this Now, its been a while, and when i rooted it, james (badazzgsx) came over to help me (by help me, i mean he did it while i watched and tried to learn). I know ill need to back up what i currently have, so if i fuck something up, i can go back to where i am now. What im unsure of is, when i do this, is everything going to start fresh, or will my current apps be there, texts, pictures in my galleries, etc and basically the underlying system just be changed? exactly what i've told people for years. i haven't smoked in ~4-5 years, but if it was legal, i'd be high as fuck on occasion maybe a weekend or two a month, if that. i don't miss it, but it was fun. too much to lose.

i dont know if you were trying to roast me, or didnt understand my post, or im reading yours wrong. Im happy with having a HSA next year. I can put a little more than what i was paying in premiums into the HSA, and come out even. This current year, id have to meet like a 2k deductible, then 70/30 for another $1700 (or about 5k more in care), and this is on top of my (had to check and correct myself), $20/wk in premiums i pay. In 2013, i can put $34/wk into an HSA, and by year end, 52 weeks of this will cover my max out of pocket for the year. 0 in premiums. Preventative is 100%. If im healthy all year, i stay away from doctors/er/etc, it costs me absolutely nothing (as it should) Sounds pretty easy to me. Who was the comedian who said something about "insurance is 'just incase' shit, and if you dont have a just incase, you should get it back"

Man...all this bitching...how about i drop some positivity. my job starting next year gives me options for 3 plans, all of which will cost me 0 dollars weekly, the top tier plan has like an $1100-1250 deductible, and then 90/10 up to a max out of pocket of 1750 for the year (deductible included). Sounds much better than the $33/wk im paying now, and a ~2k deductible before anything kicks in. Yay obamacare.

good call on the warranty. Called today, talked to a real person (albeit after 7-8min on hold), guy told.me all products have a lifetime warranty, even though i got it as a gift and no idea where purchased from. Just gotta send it in and wait a few weeks. Easy enough. Thumbs up to skullcandy!

Last year for christmas, I wanted a sound dock that I could plug my iPod or phone into, and have on my kitchen counter. I wanted it to be a fairly small, decent sound, didn't have to be amazing but good enough to hear music. I got a Skullcandy "pipe" system. Was everything i was looking for, and i dont think my mom paid too much for it. Well, even with all the good reviews I have heard of Skullcandy, not even a year later one speaker has been blown for about 3 months, and the other is breaking up and on its way out. Needless to say, im pissed. And she bought it somewhere online, probably ebay (it was still packaged like new), but no hopes for any return/warranty. When my uncle was here a few months ago, he had what looked to be a pretty sweet jawbone system. It was portable (as was my skullcandy), REALLY good sound, fairly compact, maybe 2"x2"x6" or so, and had bluetooth connectivity. Id rarely use bluetooth, but i guess it would come in handy if I wanted to use Pandora thru my phone, but an audio cable would be fine. He said it retailed for somewhere around $200, but he got a sick discount through his work or something (post office) and got it closer to $100. so what's something good, that's going to last me more than a year that this Skullcandy one has, good sound, and maybe around $100 or so. Its gonna sit on my kitchen counter 360 days out of the year so I don't want it to take up space. it might make the occasional trip out back so we can listen to music while at the fire pit or grilling out etc.

serious question, why do you think that many people will give a damn about your wedding. you're some out of town person they will likely never see again, probably the 10th newlywed couple this month, etc. im not trying to be funny. i saw a married couple on my way back from FL that got someone to trade them a seat so they could sit together on the plane as their seats were a few rows apart. maybe you'll be that lucky.
