there are huge differences in the way they are made and the "pit depths" , "laser wavelength" and distance in between protective plactic disc and foil recording substrate, and that DVD-R are flagged as -R and DVD+R are not flagged at all so you can change the "Booktype" to whatever you like what does all this mean to you as far as recording goes........not much the only thing that should concern you is which one your players like the best and that USUALLY is DVD-R if you would like really in-depth answers i would be more than happy to explain booktyping and/or link you to a couple informative websites

DVD Decrypter IS DEAD....hence the need for DVDFab Decrypter DVD Shrink IS NOT DEAD...just no new updates in a while if you have a problem using shrink only, it is more than likely a copy protection scheme preventing shrink from working properly, so far the only one that messes with shrink are SONY MOVIE DVD's including Sony Pictures and Columbia this is where DVDFab Decrypter comes into play, it bypasses all ARcOS protection and rebuilds the dvd files in their correct locations, which ARcOS also moves around (on purpose) which then sets up a correct shrink and burn with DVD Shrink any questions just ask! Morabu

DVDFab Decrypter.....will break any and all Sony ARccOS protection....which is what is messing up your shrinks, so rip the dvd to HDD with Decrypter, and then run Shrink on the image files and IT WILL properly shrink it how you want it!!

yes....you can upload songs from one mp3 player to your computer and then download them to the other mp3 player also you can use windows media player to copy the songs off of your cd's to your computer and then download them onto your mp3 player
