I would give it high 14s low 15s stock, I ran 14.9 stock at 93 mph and she had more but only my 2nd pass ever down the track. I dont really know what the regals weigh in at but that would be my guess. Do ya a 3.4 pulley, easy removal if ya plan on changing it alot or just a press on if 3.4 is all you will ever go, 180 T stat is nice, and the CAI really woke my car up, impressed me quite a bit and makes the blower sound alot more noticable. Plus you are not looking at a whole lot of cash for that, 300 to 500 total and put her pretty consistant mid/low 14s I would guess. Got to love sleeper cars, always leave em guessing

I had it done a little over 2 years ago, I was actully one of the youngest people to ever have it done, at least at Bloomburg, so they say, I really dont know for sure. I love it though, I had a few problems at 1st, starburst were really bad for bout 2 months, road signs at night gave off huge glares, it was really annoying and lights in the distance, starbust bad but it gradually went away and now my vision is kick ass. its been corrected to 20/17 or so the last time I had it checked which is cool and Akula stated, its bad ass to wake up and see. If you can tolerate a few days of itching in your eyes and kinda gritty for a while its not bad at all and it just takes time to heal, like anything. I definatly recommend it if you have vision problems. Oh, and I work in a brick plant with tons of dust and debris, I wear safety glasses but just glasses and I have no troubles, my eyes never itch and very very rarely dry out and there is a ton of dust every single day. good luck with it all man

I wrecked my 2004 R1 at 70 mph, lots of road rash, and ya know what, I have heard every lecture you can get, "to big of a bike for you" "learn how to do a wheelie" and to be quite honest, im tired of fuckin hearing it, I was the only one hurt in the accident. And also, I had so many people tell me not to buy an R1, its to big blah blah, when you put in the days I do at a brickyard, come home aching every day then make the payment I did for my bike, then you can tell me what I should buy. The dude wrecked his bike or someones bike, that makes him a squid/noob, I guess no rider thats been riding for years has dumped their bike. Nature of the beast, sooner or later they bite ya in the ass. I keep gettin ya ever gonna get back on 1, and i say yes and they say im fuckin stupid. Nope, just not scared of it. If you dont ride a bike its hard to understand, all i can say. I just set my bike back down after doin some wheelies and was gettin ready to take some twisties and speed shifted in a lower gear than I thought and tire spun and caught and came up and I wrecked. 2005 R1 by next summer will be a reality

Hey guys, after a long long wait and tons of paperwork I have recieved my interview process papers for the Columbus Fire Dept. I was informed on Wednesday that I will have to take a Polygraph (aka lie detector) test on the 14th of September. To be honest, which im sure is with most people that have ever takin one, it is killin my nerves already and its still a few weeks away. So I was just curious of what all is involved, if anybody has ever had to take one and what im kinda looking at. How long does one usually take, all yes/no answers, I am just kind of at a loss and really dont know what to expect with the whole thing. Any help anybody has got would be great. Thanks a ton in advance guys....
