I just picked up cram books for the N+, S+, and L+. I don't have (and honestly, don't need) the certs because they're pretty baby-food, but work pays for it so why not? Besides, the N+ and S+ carry weight when I take the MCSE and MCSA next year. I'm already bored as shit reading the N+ book because I knew and forgot it all in favor of real knowledge. Oh well... I've had CCNA and CCDA, but I let them lapse. I'll renew them after I've got the MS certs.

It's been a great experience. I've had a crown, 8 or so fillings and a tumor removed from under my tongue (benign). It can take a while since it's a teaching program (2-3 hours an appointment), but if you can spare the time, definitely go.
