Godwins Law in only 35 posts. Hitler had some good in him before he went Megolomaniac. He was recognized then for what he was, not what he would become. Obama has done nothing to earn what he was awarded, only what he wants to do. Completely ass backwords. I wonder if you can get a fake Nobel Peace Prize certificate on line like those fake Diploma's?

M1 Garands and Carbines are NOT assault rifles. Anyhow, CMP offers better quality M1's at one hell of a price at $595. You won't find SK Garands and Carbines in this quality for this price. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/D94R/Guns/IMGP1796.jpg

My uncle did one of the last "walk throughs" (Columbus Police Officer) to remove the vagrants living there the day before they tore it down. That place was cool as hell.

I have one that has poked through on top, the other top one is pointed straight forward with no chance of it coming in. The bottom two are also pointed straight forward with no chance of coming through. I am supposed to get them removed, just haven't scheduled it. Someone asked where to go. If they can be "pulled", usually a regular dentist will do it. If you need surgery (they are under the gums, point forward, or are in any shape other than "normal") then you'll most likely be going to an oral surgeon. If his are anything like my bottom wisdom teeth then it might be because a pocket is forming above the actual teeth. I could see where this could eventually 'collapse' I guess. I'm getting knocked out when I have mine removed cause I don't want to hear or smell the removal, and all of them at once. I'd rather go through pain all at once than possibly 4 separate times.

Who knows about different builders? Housing that is
RangerTurbo replied to Twistedrx7's topic in Dumpster
Wayne Homes still around? My parents built with them in 1996. All around great experience with no "house" complaints. We did however luck out with the subcontractors that framed the house. It was a group of guys that were in between framing houses in the New Albany area. VERY good at custom framing. Our neighbors house though was framed by the Amish. The worst run out in our house was 1/8", there's was almost a full inch. The 2 drywall guys were astonished and had the 2500sq/ft house hung in about 5 hours. YMMV though if you've had other experiences with Wayne Homes. -
State OK's use of secret GPS tracking devices (in cars)

Because it's a violation of our privacy. The mentality of "if you have nothing to hide then why don't you just let us take a look" is what leads to loss of Rights and Police States. We are innocent until proven guilty. Monitoring us at any moment is one step towards guilty until proven innocent. -
I have a Rock River Arms midlength, chrome lined on top of a CMMG lower. Absolutely no complaints. Total cost without BUIS's was $850 for both.

Duh, it's the shoulder thing that goes up!

For god sakes, I thought we were to the point that everyone has been sent this 20 times and declared it to be dead in the water 19 times ago.

My only concern was timing events with the stroker. I know there shouldn't be a problem... but the quirks of having a marine grade engine made me question it is all.

Wow... more info than I could have asked for , thanks Gearhead. The more we googled, the more he accepted that he'll either be fixing this one or buying another block and swapping all the goods into it. We might get lucky and its just a blown head gasket, or might not be so lucky with a cracked head or block. He just got the engine out of the boat so haven't had time to strip it apart yet, and he deploys to Iraq next month so this might be a year before we get to it anyhow. SO, assuming its just a bad head gasket or relatively easy fix, what would be the danger of making this a 383 stroker, but using the marine cam? The stock 260 HP is nice,... but more HP/TQ can't be a bad thing right?

This isn't about a car engine, and I know next to nothing about Chevy motors, but I figured the Chevy guy's here would be able to answer my questions. My buddy has a boat with a carbed 350 that has coolant in the oil. He's debating fixing this one or swapping in a JY motor. Do the LS1's and 350's by chance have the same exhaust bolt patterns? He's thinking about swapping one in if we can get away with using the stock water cooled exhaust manifolds in the boat. Horsepower TV did a build up of a JY LQ4 engine. I thought they stated the LQ4's were the iron LS1's instead of aluminum. Research tells us though that the LQ4's are just bored or stroked 5.3' Vortecs. Can anyone shed light on that one too?

Ok, tarnish isn't the word I was looking for then. It gets dull from wear and tear. I have to take it in to get dipped every six months just to keep the lifetime warranty in effect on it. The ring isn't gold as I had a large chunk taken out of it at work and it was white all the way through. I had always thought white gold was a chemical process, but now that you mention the ways to make it, it makes sense. As my class ring was white gold that was just dipped regular gold, and this doesn't turn like my class ring did. I only ever see the "goldish" color that I thought it was "tarnishing" to on the bottom side of the ring. Last time I had it cleaned/dipped they asked if I wore latex gloves regularly, and I do for work. Turns out the sweat and powder inside certain gloves along with that being the most "worn" spot on the ring can have a harsher effect on the rhodium coating. Still though, it ultimately seems like gold, or real white gold has to be dipped to protect it to keep either "white". So either way, how the hell do you dip a whole car?

Mathews Ford sucks gopher nutz. -
You know, its a pain in the dick enough to get my white gold wedding ring dipped every 6 months to keep it "white", other wise it tarnishes back to regular gold. How the HELL do you dip a whole car?

Either of you have a link to the current Ohio Revised Code? And/or a date of the posted one by Verse? ETA: nevermind... I did find the most current, and it coincides with what Verse posted. As Verse said, thats where reading the gray area becomes a problem. Looks like though, unless someone was already in possession of a handgun (say moved from out of state, or inherited it, etc) at 18 , then acquiring a handgun "legally" at 18 would be based on a lawyers and courts interpretation of the law, and what any possible case law has to say on the subject. Law states nothing about already owning one so since it's not outlined as illegal, that is legal. Sucks for you guys.... Utah doesn't have that problem And for fucks sake, why can't law be written where every other line doesnt refer to another section. Just say "If you're under 21, you can not purchase a hand gun"... hell, it would save a lot of discussion. As well, part of the confusion on my part is the following: Where as, reading this, a handgun is a firearm, but a firearm is then not a handgun. Kind of like saying a square is a rectangle, but a rectangle is not a square.
-
Wait now, I said nothing about carrying it.... which seems like why this is being debated. A hand gun serves just as well as a home defense fire arm. Probably not as good as a shotty, but will fill the niche of wanting a hand gun and a home defense firearm both in the same if that is what he is looking for.
-
You clearly can not read the code. How vague must they write section 3 so you can understand it's legal. The "but not limited to" part of the description leaves if VERY open to interpretation of what one is buying the gun for. Besides the fact that you do not have any legal obligation to disclose what some one is buying the hand gun for. The rest of the code is in regards to straw purchasing and under age (under 18) selling/purchasing. So buy the gun for "lawful hunting", "sporting", or "educational purposes". It's really very simple.
-
Every brand is junk to someone else though. But, I wouldn't be paying a grand for a Para 1911.
-
I'll reiterate. Under 21? You're purchase MUST be from a non-dealer. You must be 18 or older. No back round check required, though you must know you can legally obtain one (as in you're not a Felon). There is nothing illegal or felonious (for the seller or buyer) about obtaining a hand gun before you're 21.
-
yes you can, just have to buy it from a private seller, not a dealer. You can own a hand gun at 18. And since you mentioned "Talking to someone tomorrow to see if they don't have anything from their huge arsenal they are willing to sell me", I'm assuming its a private seller, go ahead and look at their handguns if that really does interest you. Like everyone else, I agree with the 870 as the go-to shotty.

Actually, you accomplished this first when you posted the following: Doing something Legally is doing something that is right. If it were wrong it would more likely be illegal. Regardless if this is a Right based argument, if something is legal, it can't be wrong. Legality isn't based on moral or personal opinion, so what you think doesn't amount to shit on what is right or wrong. There is support HERE. Read the subforum for OHIO and see how much support there really is. Don't worry about being the "Hero" by doing this "first", instead, join the many people who are already out there trying to make a positive difference for us (you). Also, don't bite into the stories of "inducing panic", "brandishing", etc etc about OCing. OCing is a legal activity, you can't be charged for those incidents while doing a legal activity unless you were really waving your gun around and what not while OCing. It's just media hype and ignorance when you hear of such occurances.
