The ranger is mine so thanks for tge comments. Ranger is V8 swapped with a 331 stroker, and uses a Toyota MR2 steering pump that all I have to run is a alternator and water pump.

Keens Body Shop has frame equipment that can pull and measures frame geometry with lasers.

Went to Central Ohio Engines today (behind Jegs). Guy quoted me 1400. Is this normal machine costs? I was thinking it would be 800-1000. Ohio Crankshaft quoted 350, but they dont assemble the short block. I know how to do this, maybe Central Ohio charges and extra 1000 for assembly.

I drove by yesterday to pick up some parts from Jegs and seen they were open. I talked to him about 1 month ago, so the number was working then.

Just purchased a 331 stroker kit for my SBF. My body shop (Keens) is on 5th ave in Columbus and I was thinking of using Ohio Engine Builders (behind Jegs on 11th) to punch out my block and assemble the bottom end. Any other recommendations, or words of advice to avoid my preferred choice?

Just so people know just in case they run into this problem. I was able to find some stainless steel universal shock mounts from Dime City Cycles. I just bought some 309 stainless welding wire and MIG welded them in to the steel frame. I should of used a TIG welder (which blew a fuse or something when I turned it on) for this for better looking welds but it turned out pretty good.

Im going to get in touch with the guy that sells me bolts tomorrow and Ill let yall know what I find out.

Im in the middle of a restoration on a 1978 Suzuki GS1000 thats being turned into a cafe racer. The bike had been laid down at some point in its life and the rear upper shock mount stud bent. And when I went to take the bolt off to remove the shock the stud sheared in half. The studs are welded in so I have to grind it down and drill the bad one out. Where do I find new ones? I see people relocate shocks all the time but where do they buy the hardware to do so? The easiest option is to buy a bare frame for around 200, but id rather work harder and install a 20 dollar part.

Well rebuilt my motor and messed up the input shaft putting the motor and tranny together. Motor runs good so thats a plus. Thanks let me know what you have or where I can go to get a rebuilt one.

Ive cane across a really good deal on a 1932 Pierce arrow. Motor is not running. Who in the region is able to rebuild these things. The rest of the car is complete and in good condition. Let me know of anyone you know.

What about getting collector plates? I don't know the regs, but I believe you only have to run the back if you have collector plates. And the hideaway license thing is cool until you meet that dreaded driveway ramp for those of who lowered are already low cars.

All the trucks you listed will pull the weight but not stop it if there is an emergency. Ive pulled loads larger than what my truck can handle its the stopping part that scares the shit out of me when I do. Nothing like your car being man handled by a pontoon boat.

If there not bad yes. I use it twice a year, and the leather goes back to being dull and soft, not hard and shiny.

Should recondition your seats with some leatherique to get rid of those wrinkles in the leather before they crack too bad.
