  1. I have went thru this, and my son is six now and I can tell you Im not getting custody. Never married to the mother, and I was military so I was gone all the time. Your situation is similar to mine. Basically what it came down to was to why now? The judge said that the child seemed to be doing fine in her care so why was I pursing custody 3 years after birth. He couldn't seem to understand I was deployed/have been deployed most of his life. It seems that paying child support isn't just for your kid, you also have to be there provide emotional support (which often is extra money) for her as well just to keep you two from feuding, b/c in the end your going to lose so just kiss her ass and hope in time things change.
  2. Not sure why but I love ugly trucks from that era.
  3. One of the better actors from 2000s on, really enjoyed his roles.
  4. I have an old style pot bellie stove with some of the exhaust pipe exposed to the room. I bought a blower that installed in the exhaust pipe. Basically you just cut out a section of the pipe and but the blower unit in its place with the fan blowing towards my stairwell. Works well my stove is in the basement and heats the house enough that the electric heater doesn't work as hard.
  5. Just give us a call, and speak to either Jay, Dave, or Scott at 294-5882. I wish I was of more assistance but Im not in the country at the moment.
  6. Im assuming your meaning lead work, which we can do. However I think fiberglass or some other filler would be more cost effective. Its all up to you, but I would talk to my dad, Scott if your interested in lead work he is tough to get ahold of though. If you mean metal fabrication for car panels we normally go thru Blackwood and tell them what we need done and 99% of the time they can do it.
  7. If you use headphones a lot they are worth it. I was going thru the 20-30 dollar headphones every 1-2 months before I broke down and bought a set of beats.
  8. Thanks for the recommendations for Keens. This is my family's shop, talk to Scott or Jay and they'll discuss it over with you. Id help you out but Im overseas at the moment. And we've had people that come in and do a lot of the work themselves to save cash on a project. Its not a business model we like to operate on but we help people every now and then.
  9. I would think that if and accident is going to be violent enough to kill you the odds of a seatbelt saving your life as opposed to not wearing one is very low. Its the 40mph accidents that don't kill wear I think its smarter to wear a seatbelt. The seatbelt would save you from broken bones such as a jaw, wrists, knee caps etc. I rather eat an airbag and have a concussion, than have that plus all the broken bones that come with bouncing off the steering wheel and dash.
  10. This sounds like a military deployment only difference is that the residents of the base get shot at, mortar etc. Guy I work with is corrections officer for a prison in Washington when he isn't out here and the free tv, and food set me off a little when he told me. I thought they sat in cells and went outside every now and then, nope even maximum security has these perks.
  11. I sold my 2007 IS250 rwd a couple months back. Its tiny and slow but I thought it was fast when I first got it as the things I dailyed up to that point was SUVs and Trucks, but good with MPGs. I wouldn't take 4 people on a road trip with the car. Anybody that sat behind me, their feet would be under the seat with their knees in the back of the driver seat and Im just 6'1''. My G35 has about the same amount of room as the IS250. The only two issues I had with it was that I couldn't fit the size wheels I wanted on it, and the starter every now and then would sound like it would miss the teeth on the flywheel. This happened like once every 10-15 startups. It never really became an issue to me but I did sell the car with 120k on it and I got it at 65k. I lived in Atlanta at the time I drove it and there was only one bad snow that I had to deal with, and the car handled it fine.
  12. I have Time Warner and the the only reason I have it is for the the tenants that live in my house while Im abroad. I got two DVRs, cable and their slowest internet package for 109 w/tax per month. Ill be getting rid of them when I get back, and just get WOWs best internet. For sporting games Ill either stream them or go to a bar or friends house. I will miss ESPN, but after being overseas so long I just stream all their live shows off their website, albeit its recorded with just voice, but it works.
  13. The guy that can afford this car can probably go ahead and still buy the Porsche too.
  14. Vrabel is gone to the Texans. At least we still have Fickell?
  15. Maybe, but there was a time in the spring that I took him to school unaware they had cancelled. It was just windy and rainy, nothing out of the norm to me. I think they just use days that they have allotted, not sure, but being from the north when I lived in the south you don't check the news to see if school is cancelled b/c its cold.
  16. My kids school was cancelled as well... in GEORGIA! It was 16 degrees and they cancelled. No ice, snow, wind, just cold. They've cancelled school due to thunderstorms once before, so Im not surprised, but come on.
  17. Why must I be a fan of Ohio football teams? Is this a curse, OSU and Cincinnati lose and yet I go another year of just waiting to be teased just to be let down.
  18. Im the same way. All I can say is that im glad my coworkers are only Michigan and Alabama fans. Were all hurting right now.
  19. Braxton says he suffered a broken rib, and that his shoulder was messed up.
  20. Heads must roll then. This really stings but I should be fine about June.
  21. So now that's over, whats the recruiting trail look like? Anybody that can play right away, theres a ton of openings on the defense. Glad we didn't play the national title, imagine to blow back on that.
