  1. why are people so quick to throw a lower thermostat in their car when it's overheating? You're just masking the problem and usually doesn't help anyways
  2. not that fine piece there but a piece of shit, yes
  3. I agree it's a piece of shit
  4. what all would I need just a tubing bender? As far as I could tell all ends have hose and clamps so I wouldn't need a flare tool or anything, right?
  5. While changing the seal on top of the gas tank in my s10 today I must have messed up one of the lines long the framerail. Not sure which one is leaking but it appears to be leaking in a couple spots. Bed is off, and it still looks like a pain in the ass to run new lines from the front cross member to the fuel tank because of the frame being boxed up front. I'm debating if I should do this myself or just have a shop do it. If the labor part isn't much I may go ahead and have the local shop take care of it. There's 3 lines: 3/8 for the supply 5/16 for the return 1/4 for the ventilation Any of you take a guess on what this would cost, parts wise and labor separately? I'm assuming 3 12' lines would be plenty. I can do it but I don't like laying on gravel, and it would probably look a little sloppier than a shops work, but it would save money. edit-tank is already off as well.
  6. def the best show on tv right.
  7. I agree, my sub just expired and I have yet to reup.
  8. so it's leaking at the seam?

  12. come on guy you were on there 24/7 until the pay thing:mamoru2:
  13. personally I'd walk away
  14. yea either single bulb somewhere, bad combo switch or a wire pulled somewhere. I'd check bulbs, then the wires under the seat and then mess with the switch if you have to.
  15. buy a $20 piece of mdf and make one how you want it. It's quite simple
  16. what do you want for the original wheels? I need some for my 86 grand prix
  17. looks pretty clean. I want those wheels for my 91 lol And driving an s10 in the winter isn't bad at all so long as you add some weight to the rear. Even without weight they do ok if you have good tires, just makes the drive fun:)
  18. Would the IAC affect driving as well? They're notorious for causing problems on those.
  19. I just went through a lot of wiring bullshit with the taillights on my s10. First off make sure you have two way bulbs and that he didn't install a single. If that does nothing you have a couple sets of wires on the driver side under your feet. Pull the carpet back and you'll see them. GM put the connectors right where your feet are and they often times come apart or a wire gets pulled out. My problem was a little different than yours (right turn signal on made both tails/reverse lights flash and the dashlight as well) but I wouldn't be surprised if one of those wires is pulled from the connector edit-if that doesn't do anything disconnect the rear wiring(left framerail about a foot from the rear bumper) and hit them with some electric cleaner
  20. it's common for the 95-99 cav's and sunfires to eat through wheelbearings once one goes. I put 5 on my old 97 z24 within a 14-15 month period. At first I replaced with the cheap ones and when they went bad I assumed that's why. Bought the more expensive ones and they didn't last much longer. yes I did them correctly an know my way around automobiles:) edit-also had a 95 cavalier that I had to replace them on a couple times as well
  21. can you hear the motor spinning? Maybe the belt is off. That, or the motor is bad there should be a removable panel in the back at the bottom that will allow you to check
  22. yea that kinda sucked. I was without power from Friday until yesterday anyways so
  23. Sisters boyfriend needs to have some one come and put a new front windshield in a 92 civic. He called a few places and found a company that will bring one and install it for $160. Is this a good price or are the cheaper places? Car is on the hilltop
