CrimeGuard 745 gets my vote. But as for the remote start. you will have to buy CrimeGuards remote start kit. Crutchfield sales the alarm, but not the remote start for it. But anyways its a damn good alarm. As for installing it. Mine was a pain in the ass. I done most of it myself, but couldnt get the doors right so I took it to Traffic Jams in Lancaster. They ended up tearing it out and redoing it all in order to get their warranty. I think it was like $100 to do it. I didnt know it at the time, but, after I had them install it I had heard a bunch of rumors that they like to pay you a home visit and steal your shit. Could be lies but who the fuck knows. Anyways, Im just trying to give you an idea of price to install the alarm.

Thats the thing, moneys tight plus, the truck is a beater. We are planning to just go to the yard and get the TBI, or just an injector or two to try out. Are the injectors hard to swap out?

Buddy of mines truck, 91 Chevy Cheyenne 1500, 4.3. Its been lugging and missing pretty bad lately. I put new plugs, wires, dist. cap and rotor on it. didnt change the way it ran at all(and the plugs were pretty hit). Anyhow, after changing it I overlooked all the vacs, none are leaking. But what I did notice was the drivers side injector(its only got two) wasnt spraying even. In fact, the back side was spraying, but the front drips. Whats the odds that the injector is the problem, is it possible the drip is causing the truck to flood slightly? What is does it idle rough, and its jerky when giving it a little fuel. Also, when trying to go up slight inclines, its like there is no power. If it will help, Ill post pics of the plugs that came out of it. thanks
