  1. id go with a pair of glass packs... like 20"
  2. Ok maybe ive gotten my A's mixed up here. I was under the impression that the B16A1 head when ported and milled for bigger valves, was more or less a ITR head. I have to admit i only read about it a few years ago so i could be confused. As for the turbo combo, yes, the GSR block and B16A head. It seemed to be the popular way to go for the scratch built jobs, but i think i saw a couple B18B/B16A combos used as well. They made a bit more power, but ended in catastrophic failure. I was never sure why, but i immediately blamed poor build quiality and tuning. As for the H22 setup you speak of... i thought people werent doing it all that much because the engine was unusually heavy??? Thus leading to poor weight distribution and poor cornering around the race track. I suppose if its sole specific purpose is straitline... i guess it wouldnt matter too much. Hell i dunno, this i your dominion... im just guessing
  3. Why do a 427 when you can have a 457 http://www.cartek.net = winner
  4. For raw honda NA "muscle", you cant beat the B20/B16A1 set up. Displacement + high flowing head. Granted, its still a honda motor and cant make a ton, but if you want NA shit, thats the way to IMO. Turbo wise, id try the old B18/B16A1 set up. Wider tranny gears, a little more bore, and the head is more than capable of 275cfm. If your looking for like 300hp and thats it, the low dollar way would be a nice plump turbo on a D16Z6. But thats almost too easy.
  5. it was a poor attempt at humor TJ... ill refrain from now on.
  6. Hello kettle??? This is TJ... you're black.
  7. i got a free breakfast sandwich WOOT! Id stick a LD9 in it... Turbo Torque > Supercharged VTEC
  8. My location is in shambles. I was at the W.Broad location (#288 in the US) at the begining of the year, and was moved to GC around July 1 to fix it. Well, the last 100 or 11weeks have been an uphill battle because the RGM was a passive douche bag with no ability in RVB2000 units. 3 days ago, he put in his NO WEEK notice and left a fuckin note and his keys on the counter at the end of his shift. So me and Tiff have basically taken it over and are starting from scratch. So its still gonna suck untill we get enough peopl hired in and get a good base going. Then its going to be up to me to make everyone fuckin crazy good at shit. The store is a gold mine... very capable of $30,000 a week... and now it averages 22-23. But we need so many people to run it its fucking retarded.

  16. yea i went up there too. It was fine like 10-15miles north of Polaris... then abot 60-70miles out, it started getting wetter and wetter. When i got to the track, it was soaked. Puddles, no lights, dark RV's all over. A total bust. But at least i gained some valuble info. Exit number is 196. You cant see the sign for shit at night. Small bits of dynamite were used to level the entrance road. The journy could be made in about 40min with no construction, light traffic, and well balanced wheels/tires.
