  1. From what I have heard, 4-2-1 gives moderate top end power, while also focusing on power throughout the range, moreso than a 4-1. A 4-1 header is more about the top end gain, but will still gain some power. I say, the 4-1 header is made for your car, but the question is, Do you drive your car how it was meant to be driven? If yes, go for 4-1. If you would like to see a considerable all around gain, for daily driving then the 4-2-1 is for you. There are alot of opinions on this matter, and the roots go alot deeper than 4-2-1 vs. 4-1. Basically, what do you want from a header, all around gain, or a big bang up top?
  2. I can't find any hardcore dyno results for the R and the comptech icebox. I think that you have chosen a good product, that will definantly give you a stock look. Fuck it, you can paint the posished pipe flat black to make it look more than stock. I say go Comptech, and then buy a good header!!
  3. I think that the Comptech Icebox is definantly a good product. The J's Racing intake that we are speaking of is a "JDM" intkae. Carbon fiber in nature, and it does look very good. http://members.cox.net/orangegoats/js1.jpg I will now give you the link to which a Honda-Tech member posted his dyno gains from the J's Racing intake. Honda Tech J's racing gains I don't know if 4whp and a tad torque loss is good on an R, but I probablly wouldn't buy it. Hmm, let me see if I can dig up some Comptech numbers.
  4. I have heard, quite the opposite, buy ya know "The Internet is always right"
  5. I love watching ITR elitists, they humor me Try out Unorthodox underdrive pullies, the full SS set, if you are interested in retaining all of your stock commodities. On my GSR, I gained about 5 and 5 across the board. Max I gained 12-13ftlbs, around 3000-3500rpm. Just don't fall for that JDM crap that's around these days, most of it is a waste of your money.
  6. Perhaps? if I really knew what a modulator is that would help me out. But how would I ask for one at the parts counter? (I don't wanna be that guy,"Yea, gimme an auto modulator for a 92 olds".) I am pretty much up to any solution that could possibly be the problem, since the tranny has already been replace, nothihng much left to do besides start replacing.
  7. So, buddies got a 92 olds cutlass sierra. Has a 3.3 V6 with only 49k miles. Had some tranny probs, it wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear on the auto tranny. So this weekend he(we) replaced it, with one from the junkyard. .......And the same problem still occurs??? Could it be a sensor or something to that nature. Anyone else ever have the same types of problems with a similar model GM vehicle?
  8. Yea, they are pretty close, I would say about 10whp within eachother. So like I said if it's worth it to you.
  9. If you think that the H22 will allow you to do the things you want at a lesser cost, then do it. Your motor has alot of cababilities, followed by a huge aftermarket following. I don't know what you would gain by doing an H22 that you can't spend on that GSR motor to do the same or better. But I am biased of course. But I say, what's the point of doing a motor to gain more torque when all you do is spin the wheels accelerating anyways.
  10. Pulled from Edelebrock page. CC/Min. = Lbs./Hr. x 10.5 43lb injectors??
  11. I don't know if this applies to rotaries too, but I know that most piston engines allow 1 crank hp per CC
  12. YOUVE GOT MAIL, YOUVE GOT MAIL, YOUVE GOT MAIL, YOUVE GOT MAIL, YOUVE GOT MAIL, YOUVE GOT MAIL, YOUVE GOT MAIL, YOUVE GOT MAIL yyyyyyyAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

  14. Little thing called revenue. Or they could be just attempting to save lives.
  15. If they are the open end type, I would be more than happy to take them off of your hands. I gotta help my buddy out. Tell me when where and how I can get them. Thank you.
  16. Well my buddy had discount tire pull off some McGaurd lug nuts that he had no key for. $5 bucks a pop, woowee. First off, I would like to know what type of thread pitch the Mustangs have? Second, does anyone have any open ended lugnuts with the correct thread pitch, that I could buy or have???
  17. Yep right after getting off of 270 to go 315N I noticed the sign and then right before the 161 bridge there goes the worthington cop. i think that if you get caught in this situation, you have to be pretty ignorant or just plain at fault. But anyways, be on the look out.
  18. This cover is for the hard top version. It is unused, but it has been opened. SlowC5 has inquired first, but I do not know if this meets his criteria
  19. They are for 91-92 E36 325i and 325is cars. I don't know what differintiates these shocks from the later model E36's. We'd do 86 bucks.
  20. Sorry I wish I did, but I think that I might have a buddy who wants to sell some. I'll let you know.
  21. Let me ask the boss and I will reply!!
  22. Tell me what you want and I will see what I can do for you.
  23. I apologize those fogs were attempting to be sold for $75 not 225. But we sold em for 35bucks. These prices are not set in stone, if something catches your eye, speak up.
