  2. You do NOT use Chinese glass, such as XYG, YYG, or YHG? Or are you saying that Safelite would never use glass that doesn't meet the standards of the car manufacturers?
  3. Today I learned Ford made 180° tractor cranks. Welcome.
  4. Every week this question is asked. Do a search please.
  5. Safelite uses OEM rejections and Chinese manufacturers. A good friend of mine is an attorney in the automotive realm and recommends not using them. On my last car I installed a Pilkington windshield. It was perfect.
  6. Geeto, I would point out how dumb your posts are, but in this case it's pretty self evident. We have strong opinions. We voice them. We don't give a shit if you're pretending to be an attorney, or what you think the courts should/will do. If someone is an asshole to the members of this site, we will feel happy when they get their just desserts. Welcome to CR. Enjoy your stay.
  7. If you have a good accountant who is familiar with your business he/she can be your go between for the state/federal tax authorities. I found it was worth the money. I used Lee Nash, Nash and Associates in Dublin. I recommend him. Let me know if you want his info.
  8. This isn't a courtroom, we don't decide innocence or guilt. We voice our opinions, and in this matter, with which you are unfamiliar, this guy is a fucking tool. Read his post history to find out why people have this opinion. Share the opinion, or don't. Most of us won't care.
  9. I would measure the voltage drop across the breaker; one lead on the bus bar in the panel, the other on the lead coming out of the breaker. NOT on the screw of the breaker itself, it would have to be the wire.
  10. Earlier, that was a link that worked. The results showed every post referencing Ray Hughes, the plumber most people on CR (including me) recommend. There's a search on here seemingly once a week.

  12. You can prevent this (musty smell) by turning off the A/C before you turn off your car. If the fins inside your car are cold, and you shut the car off, you get condensation. If the car sits, the moisture sits. I always run my car without the A/C on for about 20 seconds to let that portion of the system warm up so there's no condensation.
  13. I can't wait for the responses this gets. I'm so excited!

  15. Looks like 0.6382% of our taxes go to TANF (welfare). A higher percentage goes to Food Stamps. Per $10K paid in taxes:
  16. Camaro = honorary mullet
  17. Without listing proper citations and case law, your argument is invalid. Your posts?
  18. Nah, it's a grey area of the law.
  19. How many times have you dodged an oncoming car, and why is this one more scary?
  20. It's legal in CA. I hated it when driving out there.
  21. Do I? I argued that when a car is in the intersection before the light turns red, it has the right of way, even if the light turns green. http://i.imgur.com/0CjE9W8.png
  22. I am not the type of person to give you credibility simply because you are an attorney. Here are the issues I have seen: 1) you have contradicted yourself multiple times. Most importantly, as I have already pointed out, in another thread you actually agreed with the same point you're now arguing against. 2) you're a bit wishy-washy when it comes to determining fault in this instance. If we read through this entire thread, it is difficult to determine a stance at all (especially after your last post), but you continue to argue regardless. It doesn't make a lot of sense. 3) I've read a lot of your posts on this, and many other, forums, dating back to 2005, on snopes, Buick boards, cafe racer, etc., to determine your personality, and it seems you don't hesitate to condescend. I don't like that, and other people should see it. You seem to present yourself as a subject matter expert with (seemingly) no basis. 4) you've attempted to distract my attention away from the current argument with an attack on our relative financial status. Not only is that petty, it's laughable. You can claim that you are a successful attorney who makes a ton of money and can therefore be condescending to others in that regard (see above point), but I think you and I know the truth. YOU have posted that you need to buy a salvage title vehicle to drive back and forth to work, YOU have stated you could not afford a 50 year old $5000 truck, and YOU have listed your wife's Audi as one of your cars. Enough people on this board are familiar with my financials that I don't need to defend myself, we can just say that when it comes to you and I, I'm not really threatened. But yes, I agree, your comment was funny (just not for the reason you think).
