  1. "Starting in 1999, with a simple press of the trip button and turn of the key you could not only test your instrument cluster (gauges), oil pressure and speedo senders, but get a real time digital readout of your speed, tach and other info AS you drive your stang." There are also trouble codes available, but not OBDII codes.

  5. No, you very obviously edited you post because when I had quoted you, you had defined the wrong section of our government. It states right under your post that you edited it today, and at exactly what time. WTF does John Kerry have to do with anything in this thread?

  9. Did you post it so you could read it again then? Good idea, since you apparently don't see things the first time they're posted.

  11. That's actually not bad if it's the DSM.
  12. Hey Rob, this is Eli. I'm not sure how the Sonoma works, but in most cases when the ignition is turned to "start" from "run", all of the electrical components in the car will turn off, including the lights and radio. If that is the casde with the Sonoma, I would suspect your ignition switch to be bad. I would also look in the direction of the starter solenoid, which in some newer cars is integral to the starter. If you can find the starter, find the positive lead and have someone attempt to start the truck. Whether 12V is present or not will determine where to go from there.

  14. At first glance, this looks to be true. After all, when the troops came back from WWII, the money they had saved up while overseas played a crucial role in the upswing in the United States economy at that time. However, during that war the majority of the money spent on the war went to the troops and the blue collar workers that supplied the weapons and machines of war, and also the industries that were needed to support the manufacture of said items (i.e., steel, coal, oil, etc.) These were all well paid positions, and many were needed. The majority of the money spent on the war was given to the middle to lower classes, allowing them to increase their standard of living. In the surrent situation, the majority of the money spent on the war is being spent on technology, whether it is software or research into bigger or more efficient weapons, or machines to more effectively reach our goals. Most of the money spent is going to large, private corporations, which are being funded by our tax dollars ( Chomsky, Welfare for the Rich). These corporations are headed by very wealthy men who reinvest their money rather than spend it, meaning that even less currency is in circulation. For more information on this, read about Reagonomics, or the trickle-down effect. It has been know for years that this theory is flwed.
  15. No, this thread should be closed because it sucks.
  16. You can't use a 351 crank in a 302 block. The deck is taller. Besides, even if you could, you would still only have 351ci (same bore size).
  17. Shut up newb, Fensler films are teh win
  18. Washing inside out helps as well. I also use the dryer on medium heat instead of high.
  19. Just FYI Andy, you may get more views if you post in the Swap Meet section of the site. That would be the correct section for automotive related items. The section you posted in is for general, non-auto related items. Welcome to the board.
