  1. ? No mail. Try again, elihoff23@yahoo.com.
  2. Never owned a turbo motor, so I admittedly wouldn't know a lot about it.
  3. Out of town until the weekend. Did you need it right away?
  4. The PCV system should only suck it up if there is a lot of blow by, which will become apparent when you do your compression check. Also gearhead, I doubt if leaking valve seals would deposit oil between the IC and TB. Just an uneducated guess though.
  5. Was your old kit NX or NOS?
  6. Actually, CD's are *.cda files. When you remove them from your CD, you may do so without any data loss by converting them to *.wav files, but they are still different. I think your theory is correct, but you are wrong about a couple of things you mentioned. Also, a good program (that is free) to convert music from .mp3 to .wav or vice versa is Audacity.
  7. Thanks guys. smile.gif [ 05. May 2005, 02:30 AM: Message edited by: Mensan ]
  8. Did you want one out of a particular make or model?

  10. Not if you just mark over the "garbage" track. The actual CD data is beyond that area. You aren't blocking any music data.
  11. So my guess is you decided not to lower the K member to..."Save time"?

  13. The new way of making CDs undetectyable to CD drives is to add a track of data that the computer will try and interpret, but cannot. It decides the CD is unreadable, but a CD player will just go right over the "bad spot". The way around this is to take a marker and color over the first track on the CD, which is the outside track, and the laser will go right to the actual CD data. You should be able to visually see the data track that blocks the CD drive.
  14. Targa top car: http://mark8.org/users/Eli/1/targa.JPG WAY too big to be a targa top; must be the hood: http://mark8.org/users/Eli/1/toobig.JPG
  15. Not the top. Looks like the hood.
  16. 89 Camaro RS 5 speed V8. Arizona car, runs great, new clutch. Underpowered, needs engine swap IMHO. Also, the paint is HORRIBLE. Solid body, needs good home/TLC. Take it home for $1300/neg. Eli 614.946.3086
  17. My response has already been written, I agree with everyone else here. Take one of the free cars and STFU. Fix it if it breaks, and learn. Anything you buy after that will seem like a luxury car, and you will appreciate whatever it is.
  18. So...What happened to "Wait until spring when my car will step on you and kill your mom!!!!"? Did you finally realize that your automatic Vette really couldn't do what you told everyone it could?
  19. No, he made horrible beer. If he made good beer, he would not have become a revolutionary. Someone else makes the beer you like, and named it after someone who made awful beer, but raised hell with the Brits.

  21. Your video editing is getting better, but next time don't let the retarded kid tape from the side of the road. WTF was the deal where he was aiming the camera straight up?
  22. I would just call the insurance company.
  23. No problem, Jesse. We had 10-13 people promise to show, actually played with 8 for most of the night. Avg. $$ on the table was 15-20 per person, with the big winner taking home $47. Not a bad night at all.
  24. Fixed. http://mark8.org/users/Eli/1/pt.jpg
