  1. Buy a box of arm & hammer baking soda, open it, close up all the windows and leave it in the sun. Baking soda is a natural dessicant. Once all your shit is dry, you can sprinkle it on your carpet before you vacuum and it will prevent odors as well.
  2. The works bombs are harder to make explode, and more dangerous. It is better to shred the foil for more surface area. The dry ice is harmless, just makes alot of noise. I'd let my kids do it.

The following is a work of fiction ;) :

When I was in high school we made one where we strapped a roadside flare to a can of starter fluid. That was some stupid shit. We were lucky we didn't get hurt real bad. Made a big fiery explosion, though. We put one in a mailbox.

  3. It's a work in progress...

Impossible unless there is sufficient oxygen inside the container to support combustion. That is why a propane tank under a gas grill does not explode, same with plumbers torches, etc. Fire triangle, and all of that.
  5. Got the engine back from Hensler yesterday. Looks pretty good, I am very happy.

    Short

    Long

Specs: The engine is Hensler Racing built .020 over, stock crank, 4130 forged steel ultralight rods from Coast High Performance, Diamond racing -5cc pistons(10.5 advertised CR), +/-.5g balance, ARP rod bolts(2000) and ARP main/head studs, Federal Mogul race bearings, billet oil pump gears, Fox Lake ported and polished heads (stock valves), new bronze valve guides, new Cobra seals, Crower springs and Ti retainers, SHM Blower grind on the cams(regrinds). James also wanted to put in the Cobra tensioners with the ratcheting mechanism and I didn't want to pay, so he put them in no charge. He does not like the rods, and he does not like gaskets other than Cometic. He also recommended a billet trigger wheel, which I declined.

  6. You need to take into consideration the weight, and the trap speed and time in the eighth.

    Heres the formula:

(1/8 e.t.*mph)/weight-weight(5.25)+1/8e.t.(1.55)=Take it to the track.

Seriously though, I posted the factors needed to convert, I just don't have the formula. It's not *that* accurate anyway.

  7. This guy has a returnless system, which means that instead of a pressure regulator, the cars computer keeps the fuel pressure at the level it wants. It does this by sending a fluctuating voltage to the pump. More voltage=more pressure. It is only like that on 99 and up Mustangs. In a car like mine, the pressure regulator routed the excess fuel back into the tank. Mine is easier to tune.
