  3. Just got off the phone with RobL. Motor might be an E6....... from what he says there will be valve interferiance with the 1.7 rockers I will put in it. Gonna find numbers on the block and hope to god someone just changed the pistons. If not Ill need another short block...

New wheels fit like a glove, 5x4.5 5.5 inch back spacing and i could prolly fit a decent size rear tire under it with some stock suspension.... Both wheels sit flush with the fenders however in the rear the fenders will need to be massaged so it does not rub when takin ober some large bumps. However so fare I will def be pleased with how the wheels will fit. they are what Ive always wanted, Sucks however They will be gold in a way. But Im sure the satin black and gold wheels will look even better. The motor will be black along with the trans, The harmonic balancer looks really ratty might get a new one but Im gonna look into them going bad and or the benefits of using a fresh one. Pulley's have seen some better days, this things got tons of rust all over it. Oil pan is starting to rust so Im gonna replace it and or try to fix it, It will be painted gold to match the wheels Heres of the Oil Pan and the Pulley. Found out in order to pull the pan or do a Clutch the whole motor has to come out. Im going to be painting it black and cleaning as much rust up as possible. sub frame has or was never been painted and the de powered power steering rack has tons of shit just fallin off of it...lol http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/106/l_c921f4e4e652426cb724d0f44d56a554.jpg as for the front of the car I will be removing that round bar and pushing everything forward as much as possible, as for the turbo will be taking up new room and I would like to get the radiator as high and as far away from the motor as possible underneath where the hood latch is to as cool the FMIC and the RAD. I would love to keep the flip ups but Im still thinking I can delete them somehow and run some really bright fog lights? Im pretty motivated on this project as its my first car i will build/ put together. Today I picked up my new Air gun and was looking at a Mig welder..... Thats all I got I will take some pics as I break the motor apart tommorow...

  7. U will over power the block and the pistons will do a break out like manuever with a 88mm turbo. 60-67 is awsome for those motors.
  8. True that, However asolid axle will cost more than the motor swap, There is a fc sitting at eddys pick and pull with tons of enterior in it right now. Get the late model fc interior stuff as its a difrent plastic not prone to breaking. Center console peices in them were coated in a rubber like texture witch kept them flexible. Also Ls1 will cost a shit ton! 302 carburated would be cheap and easy as fuck if you plan on just doin spray. My opinion carbed 302 on spray with a auto trans. Quick car and you could braket race the fuck out of it. Tall tires with a 4.10 rear end out of a gxl "lsd" and call it a day.

  13. Not gonna Lie Im gonna try not to.. Gonna run 5lbs all day. I just a lil worried about my rear end not gettin done for a while:( Ive been looking at serpantine setups and I see that I really like this one, I have some if not most of the parts for the March Alternator bracket and AC delete kit.   15. Me and Miller are no longer VIRGINS:cool: Miller came and we pulled the motor out of the 7 today, I drained the fluids and shit befor he got there and now its sitting on the ground. I thought maybe bitches and money would fall from the sky but they did not Either way I pulled my first motor and It was millers first time also, So now were badass. Thanks Miller!!!!!!!! I didnt have my camera today so I cannot post any pics.... But tommorow before work Ill be back to seperate the motor and trans and put it on a engine stand. Ill take some pics and post em later tommorow night after I get outta the gym around 11. While the engine is out Im gonna power wash the engine bay degrease and paint as much as I can black. Im also gonna cut away everything for the FMIC also. Re wire some things and hopefully make a wire tray for the top of the fire wall for the wires to run across. Stimmel hope everything is all good.
