+1 I was a Marine. Did you know your own (OP) height and weight classifys you as overweight? I was 5'9" and 155 in bootcamp with very little body fat, but that was walking a razor edge on overweight. We had guys who were 20 pounds "over weight" with single digit body fat. They may have been given slack here and there, but on paper they are overweight and have caught some flack for it.

Per my post...I do not condone their stupidity. Again...not even an issue since they went back. I did not say they were not being asshats. Just defended the trying of forward progression. Besides...the price difference offers benefits that PS4 does not. The voice activation and integration of all other living room appliances (YES I KNOW PS4 INTEGRATES AS WELL),but PS does not offer the same things. The fantasy sports ESPN integration is pretty damn sweet. It will flash when one of your players scores a point per fantasy team and then records that single play for playback when you are ready...it is things like this that make XB1 kind of intriguing over PS4. A lot of people are fine with standard remotes or not having the gestures etc. Thats cool too. I really like the things that XB1 offer. My wife will like them also for pure ease of use. Still getting an XB1 over PS4.

Your profile roams...you can still go to a friends house and play. This is all profile based and your profile can be pulled up on any of these. This is like Steam. Cloud games had this same reaction when it was first introduced. Game prices would inevitably fall when cutting out middle men like Gamestop. Also remember that these retailers would have the option to pay to be a preferred vendor that could still sell these games used. Not that any of this matters since they decided to go back. What MSFT was doing wasn't a horrible thing here. They just really sucked at telling the story. Steam at least allows you to play any game offline without a persistent connection (again not really an issue here since MSFT retracted). I believe they are trying to advance tech to another level by radically changing the way business was done. Im not defending some of the dumb ass issues it had, keeping things the same way is not progression.

+1. Same thing happened when Steam came out...now look at it.

Not about being a SEAL. There were several candidates headed to BUDs that were there. Those who have graduated BUDs that have done this camp say that this camp is harder than BUDs and the grad rate for those who have attended this and gone on to BUDs is 100%. This camp is more about letting yourself know that you can do more than 20x what you thought you could possibly do and forges mental toughness.

Hell those are usually gone before she gets a chance to post it. Got home last night and all I wanted was a cold beer. She was nice enough to buy me a 1.9 pound bag of swedish fish which I promptly dug into until she took the bag away. We burned close to 22k calories per day.

I am sore today and missing skin in random places from all the sand rubbing on my shoulders and thighs. I fared far better than some of those other dudes. The screwed with me pretty hard when they saw my USMC tattoo. Seal "Hey Martin...What the F&ck is that on your arm??!!" Me "Former Marine coach" Seal "You know what the difference between a Marine and a banana is?" Me "No coach" Seal "Marines start off green, turn yellow and die together" Me "Hooyah coach"

Just finished this kokoro camp and highly suggest for anyone here who are adventure seekers. It was hardcore and definitely brutal. For any who have never heard of it, it is the first 50 hours of navy SEAL (BUDs) hell week. It's put on by both retired, active duty and enlisted guys who have graduated BUDs but are only in SQT chasing the trident. It was rough...they started us with hoses in the face and beat us on the grinder for an hour. Then a 45 min plank hold. I hated and yet loved every minute. I almost quit 30 damn times, but stuck it out being cold, sore, wet and miserable. But it was fun as hell at the same time. Seriously suggest this camp just for the sole fact that they will dig into the core of your being and you will meet yourself for the first time. You can do 20x more than you ever thought possible. It was cool hanging out and having a BBQ with SEALs after finishing and listening to the funny crap they say. Check out the link below and watch any of the evolution videos to get a small taste of what I went through for 50 non stop hours. I'm a former Marine and they put me through the ringer worse than the corps had done... http://www.sealfit.com/sealfit-journal/video-archive/ Can't decide if pushing a 50 pound sand bag with your face in and out of the surf in a low crawl forever or doing handless burpees for putting your hands on your hips because your tired (100x each offense) or maybe the 3200 full range burpees we did was worse.

man...doesn't sound like a good deal at all...i hate PS controllers and the button configs. Always drove me back to Xbox (I know you can get the trigger extensions to make it like XB, but still was not the same). Like it or not MS is still a powerhouse and these game companies will end up playing ball. These companies are still very dependent on MS sales (as well as Sony) so I do not see anyone rebelling right now.

I have a GSG522 for sale. Comes with a Barska 4x32 illuminated scope (red/green illum) and an Aimpoint Red dot. Also has 3 mags and the push pin upgrade has been done. I also have the bolt upgrade pack that I have not installed (highly recommended you do this) and will throw in both 300 rounds that I do have and blue locktite for the bolt upgrade. 450.00 OBO for all. Fun plinker, but this rifle can only use the golden bullets high velocity or else you are subject to jams. http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq203/picasso007/photo6.jpg http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq203/picasso007/photo2.jpg http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq203/picasso007/photo4.jpg http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq203/picasso007/photo5.jpg http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq203/picasso007/photo3.jpg http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq203/picasso007/photo1.jpg http://i448.photobucket.com/albums/qq203/picasso007/photo-4.jpg

Thats a sweet rifle man. Good find. Those are about 2k. You may want to check out hkpro.com as they have some knowledge they can impart. I have seen Tasco quick release scopes on those, but i dont know much about them. If that were mine...Leupold would be my choice, but that is purely personal preference. I usually check with my operator buddies to see what the military is having them use these days (i know most buy their own, but usually after having been field tested hard). If its good enough for them in theaters of war then it is good enough for me. So far the consensus from them being Leupold/Triji/aimpoint. Again...nice find. My next adventure is a .308/7.62.

Bob...for a .308 good sir you cant skimp on optics. They say you should spend 2x as much on the glass as you do on the gun. With that said I was going to advise you differently on the Bushnell suggested, but decided to look at some reviews first. I was surprised to see some of those scopes on higher powered rifles and hold zero. What I could not find is one review with it on a .308. My advice would be to head to AR15.com and see what those guys are using. there is a link off the main page for Equipment Exchange (for sale section and is an orange link towards the top). There are a couple different categories for optics for sale as well as in depth reviews/suggestions that may fit your needs. While I am not trying to dissuade you from Bushnell please ensure that your optic will hold a zero on a .308. You may find it difficult to get a solid scope for your application w/o spending more. I personally went with Trijicon and have never looked back. Leupold (aimpoint as well...but have been advised heavily against the newer EOTech...but you are not looking for a red dot so it doesn't even matter) has some killer scopes and if you can find one used for the right price... I know others will jump in and disagree with me, but I don't play around when it comes to optics as I want to ensure it will perform beyond a shadow of a doubt. I guess I should have asked what the weapon even was? AR10? Rem 700 bolt action?

Helped a buddy move his exact same model a few times. I swore I would never move that thing again. Awkward and seriously heavy... Solid TV though. GLWS

I'm in love with this car. Trying talk my wife into another e55. She is staring me disapproving like, but I'm going to keep forcing the issue. I have an extra set of stock amg wheels in mint condition 245F/275R that would go perfect on this with new rubber. I may want to come see this. I will get back to you if I can convince the executor.

Well then...when you post a problem then maybe a little more background of what you have and have not tried may help next time. GL!

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was by the far the worst Indy movie. Total waste of time. The South Park episode making fun of this with Indy being raped was hilarious.

Firearm Auction Thu Feb 7th Portsmouth, OH
timmy43016 replied to Doc1647545523's topic in Other Stuff
Went. Agreed with above...prices were like going to the Westland mall gun show. No deals at all (well on what I wanted at least). Buddy got a .50 muzzle loader at a fair price. -
+1 We did a side by side with the Kirby/Dyson Animal DC-14. Kirby destroyed the Dyson. Lifetime warranty...full replacement if the thing breaks. We got a brand new one for 600 after beating the guy up on the price from 2200. 600 may sound steep...but considering what most pay for a Dyson...that sounds about right. Lifetime replacement secures a solid ROI.

Sold lock it up. Thanks Paul.

Is this just the unit or do you have games to sell along with it?
